I used the existing holes in the bed to run the wires .. and 3m double sided tape to mount the lights and switch .. the lights are bus/rv step lights and the switch is a mag reed switch .. clean install time will tell how long it’ll last they’re exterior lights so should last a hood while and I do have a tonneau so they will be protected

Really cool! I wonder if you could have made them come on when the interior or bed light comes on?

Yeah you can wire it to interior switch or the cargo switch .. I just chose to go with an add in tail gate switch wired to the battery

Sure, you could always install them with a relay and have the trigger wire attached to the cargo light wiring.
