Green Thunder already has a modest size Bowie, but I’m afraid it’s never gonna leave his mantelpiece! Lol

Ended up picking a couple of the Boker strike plus autos up. The stubby snaps opens super quick, you can tell it’s under more tension than the mini. The mini is a nice knife, just doesn’t open as snappy as I’d like it to. The stubby safety was loose (as in it would slide up and down if touched). Took the scales off and tightened it up and all better now.

They are pretty sharp from factory but don't cut as well as the benchmade claymore I just picked up.

They def aren’t as high quality as the claymore but at a 5th of the price I can’t really complain about them!

Granted, mine are much cheaper knives but still learning the "if you love it, buy another" especially before they change something lol

I was about to say Nope, never. Then I remember I have two Spidercos in my garage waiting for me to wear out my current EDC. And I have 3-4 worn out Spidercos in various kits that I refuse to get rid of.

I picked up the SOG Flash in blue, had it a few weeks and was loving it so went and got the Aegis in green. Very similar knives and they alternate being my edc. They are assisted openers but work well, the blade is cryo D2 (supposedly a little better then D2, but doubt I'll ever do anything where that matters), sharp out the box, and a nice feel in the had. For both, I'm still less than half the price of the Benchmade Claymore I was carrying daily, so if my knife goes missing its less of an issue.

Finished this skinner today. When I first cut into this piece of wood 6 months ago I knew it would be worth it. Dried, dyed, stabilized and done! The Damascus is 15n20 & 1084 carbon steel. IMG_0061.jpgIMG_0062.jpgIMG_0063.jpgIMG_0064.jpgIMG_0066.jpg
