Did you guys ever do the “fat man” relay?
Usually it was always throwers, 400yds 4 people, and it was a different food item that had to be completed by the end of the relay; the jar of peanut butter was the worst one.

Besides, think about all the parents that spend hours sitting through plays and such to watch their children drop a one or two word part (or background lip sync vocals only during the chorus)

 

It was always a good time, usually puking was involved, but some of the big boys could still move fast. I feel like the runners tried it; but they’re runners not eaters……
I was usually 3rd leg and would kill the item for a free pass off to the last person(pass the wrapper or whatever)

 

How come if it's Johnny Sinns, I'm Sr; but if it's Ron Jeremy, I'm jr??

 

Ok, so i thought you were making up the whole johnny sinns name.... Although he's definitely in better shape than RJ, he's also too old to be my son.

He does look a lot like the partial pics we've seen of @T-Rex266 though, and I'd assume they are about the same age

 

Did you only to T&F or were you a multi sports kid?
I did swimming and T&F, didn’t take either to seriously, especially towards the end, but swimming I kept getting stuck doing long distance, I hated it, but for some reason I was good at it. I remember the day my coach made me do the 500(not super long distance but more than I wanted to swim) and the kid next to me at the blocks was like “hey what’s your time?” I was like huh? I’ve never swam this event before? Somehow I smoked him by a 100yds……….. I still gave him a hand shake at the end.


My sister swam to, but football reigned king at our high school, not sure why, but one day the football team traded practice with the Swim team……. Supposedly the swim kids killed it doing the football practice, the football kids were drowning.
Every home swim meet after, the football coach would come to our meets, and stay the entire time. Legend!!! Vern freedly
