    Yes I am. The first one came out in 1996. The most recent in 2011. So 12 years, not 8.

    At least Robert Jordan had the decency to finish the outline and work with another writer when he knew he wouldn't make it to the end of WoT.

    And Terry Pratchett finished his last book and had it published posthumously.

    Brandon Sanderson was the cowriter for the last 3 WoT books. Yeah, I read rhem all.

    Terry Pratchett was a humor and satire writer. I'm not sure how many books he wrote, but it was a lot. Probably his most extensive series is the Disc World books. Very British style of humor so not everybody likes it.
