Just went to order a full spare - 305/70R18 and saw Walmart has these on sale for $260 each which is a great price. Discount price matched and included installion and mounting.. Normally they are $309 + install. The cheapest I ever saw these were 275 online in the past.

Just FYI as I know some are looking to go to this tire.

The Pros run a little bigger. The 305/70R18s are actually 35.1 x 12.4

Would it be worth or even probable that DT or similar would have a used 295/70/18 laying around for resale? I just need a spare and am not interested in doing a 5 tire rotation.

It's worth a call at least. Not sure where you are located but there are places that specialize in used tire sales. From what I've seen though they aren't totally worth it as you can get a new one/set for a little more.

    Yes

I have one as a spare right now for when I buy my next set of tires. Im Still running my TOYOs. They only have 13,000 miles on them and I love em, but will certainly be going STT as long as I can get a full winter out of these TOYOs

    You're @PMG !!!!

I have a stock spare laying around that I'm not gonna use. Does the spare you're looking for have to be cooper?

They could be plooper or pitto ape hangers. I hope to never use it, but have it vs the stock size that's underneath. U was looking for a used 295/70/18

Lol that was my initial reaction too. Could have saved another 100 on the set a month ago. Damn my impatience

Underneath. Had to trim the guides and use my foot for leverage to push it back. I have stock shackles which are more narrow than yours

There are guides under there that allow the stock tire to sit nicely. Gotta get out your angle iron and don't be shy. It wedges in with no room to spare. I take it out for heavy wheeling. I also have a roof rack that it sits in when off road. If I'm not camping it sits in the rack on my @KB Voodoo crossbars he so gracefully charmed me with. The prototypes work really well, btw. If I'm camping it goes on my rhino rack on the cab

Yeah might have to switch to the Toytecs so I can fit anything under there. Once I get the tire mounted I was gonna go under there and see what I can start cutting away lol. Otherwise its a bed mount or tire gate

You can't fit a 35 with Toytecs. I have stock which is almost an inch more clearance on both sides

Also another reason why I got those turn downs so I dont risk melting the spare on the tails

I've seen a 35" General Grabber mounted underneath with CBs. The bolt was reversed and it was super tight. Toytecs are half the thickness as the CBs I have so we'll see once I get under there with the full spare

Gonna be a tight fit. Take a look at Joon's build. He has Toytec and 295s. He has about 1/4 inch on either side
