best way to prevent a hangover… take 600mg ibuprofen and a Dramamine with 20oz of water and eat a Tums before you pass out.

I try to toss up outside as well. Gives the chickens something to eat.
The last time I lost it was in Red River, NM with some military buddies from TX. A bunch of beer and jalapeño poppers just don't sit well once I lay down. :anonymous: That was at least 8 years ago. Now I only eat 3-4 poppers and limit myself to six one packs.

It is. Lots of biker rally's, classic car shows, events, etc. pretty fun place.

    Northern NM is beautiful.

I was in Farmington for a few years as an adult; S/W Colorado was gorgeous (Farmington not so much)...

One of the problems there (Farmington) was location... To get to Taos and other places in that area, I had to drive S/E through ALBQ then back to the N/E to explore any of that area. Multi-day trips, and it wasn't a time in my life when I had that kind of freedom or spare time.

It was a lot easier to shoot up into Durango and Telluride areas

I always enjoy your posts of those areas. I didn't spend much time there, but I can definitely relate to what is being depicted in your photos and such. It's amazing how much beauty is actually available to explore and experience in the U.S. Unfortunately, most folks are so caught up in the hustle and bustle of life (even during vacations) that they only stick to the interstates and major highways from point A to point B, and they only see glimpses of what's out there from a distance.

The only thing I like about the Farmington area is the off-roading. Even then, give me Montrose, CO any day that ends in Y.

And that is why we drink beer. As for hangovers, all the pharms and raw eggs and whatever other black magic holistic snake oils come about; THAT is the stuff that goes in the toilet. We handle our hangovers like real men (no offense @Outbound), hair of the dog. And that's why dog is man's best friend. It's all relevant ya see....

Sounds about right. Throw up everything before you pass out so you don't have to throw up when you wake up.

I have to be pretty far down the rabbit hole to throw up...like halfway through a 5th of 80 proof or higher.

The next day I feel it though. Not so much hungover as dehydrated. If I water load early in the day, I'm good.
