Vivid Racing ECU Tuning

Is anybody familiar with Vivid ECU tuning, it looks good based on youtube videos. Do you guys have any experience with it? Suggestions?

Very happy with it, daily drivability has noticeably improved!

The few people I have talked to that have been done are very pleased as well.

 

Seems a lot of curiosity! I am, the same ha! Quite curious how their gains compare to the known programmers.

 

I was very curious until I saw that it required a $250 tool for the flashing, plus $400 for the rest.

TL;DR. Too much money for such low power numbers.

 

Peak numbers are just one aspect, I bet if you drove one you'd be happy with the results from an everyday drivability aspect.

When are you planning on driving around doing red line all the time? That's the only time peak gains will ever help, on the track.

 

Is there any other way to drive? That's how all my friends told me how to drive a manual. Gotta make sure it's in 4lo as well.

Okay, that's enough sarcasm for the day. I like the way mine drives now. The only way it could get better is if I added an exhaust.

And bigger fuel tank.

And lift.

And supercharger.

And log travel.

 

For what it's worth, my wife really doesn't know anything that gets done to the truck unless it's pretty damn noticeable as far as visual appearance...

She's driving the truck right now and she calls me and says what did you do... I asked what do you mean what did I do? She replied saying that the truck feels a lot peppier and not as much of a dog. At that time I broke her the news.

 

Ha, I like this! Mine would never know... my biggest problem is when the UPS truck shows up when I'm not home.......
