Leveling a 2013 DC 4x4 Tundra

    I was looking at the Bilstein 5100 Series 2.5" to level my Tundra. I am trying to stay under 1200 for this project and I was wondering if anyone had anymore recommendations. I do light offroading and mostly highway with this truck. The reason for leveling is I want to move to a little bigger tires in the future so any feedback would be great.

    Bed Rail System Tonneau Cover
    I’m looking at doing the same for my 2020 DC and will be going with the Eibach Pro Truck struts. They are supposed to be a bit smoother than 5100’s on the road. Nothing wrong with Bilstein. My dad has 4600’s on his Tundra but I don’t really like how stiff it feels.

    OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
    I had 5100's, but they rode like absolute dogshit on the 3rd setting (defective maybe?). Ended up with OME Nitrochargers and 2612 coils which I love, but it did give me a hair over 3" lift on the front, so a rear spacer may be needed, ymmv. Think I remember Toytec had some pretty cool options pushing the upper end of your budget, might check them out. Could have sworn they used to be on the vendor list...

    Hey there Colton with Hotshot Offroad here! The 5100s are a quality part, but if we could push your budget to the upper level you mentioned I have to recommend the Eibach Pro-truck Stage 2 kit. You'll get a little more supple of ride quality than a 5100, and a fully assembled coilover assembly. No need to disassemble your stock components and move things around. Just pull out and pop on! We've had a lot of luck with these kits on Tundras.

    They come at 2" of lift out of the box, which will be the upper limit that you want to go for your budget. Go much over 2" of front lift and you're stepping into the territory of needing new UCAs which will generally run you approx $700 by themselves. You might be able to get away with 2.25" on the stock UCAs though. The Eibachs are adjustable so you can bring up the collar to set ride height.

    Also, on Tundras we recommend not going completely level. A leveled Tundra actually looks a little nose high so we recommend maintaining about 1" of rear rake.
