I know RainMan posted a very detailed wiring diagram but it might as well be rocket science to me.

    2021 SR5 5.7L TSS 4WD CrewMax
Left hand drivers seat w/o climate control & w/o seat position memory

My seat is stuck in the forward position, it will not even try to lean back. I think my electric seat switch is bad. I don’t know for sure but when I push the switch to lean back I don’t get the same audible/physical feedback that I do going forward. It’s not the circuit breaker because all the other seat position movements work.

I work out in the desert for weeks at a time and I’m nowhere near a dealership. I was wondering if I could bypass the switch with a jumper to lean the seat back until I can get to the dealership. I have spare wire. Plus this would help me diagnose if it’s the switch or the motor.

Where would I need to place the jumper on the pin receptacle?

If you go to the garage heading and then to electrical sub heading you will find all wire diagrams.

    Yeah the one RainMan posted.
I’ve found the right diagram but not sure where the power/ground comes in. The power goes into the switch on the same connector that it goes out to the motor. So all I know so far is that the electric motor is terminals 9 & 10. Reverse polarity to power opposite direction.

Actually I just got lucky with my multimeter finding the power/ground. It worked. Nevermind. This post can be deleted
