Love that area! We've had family reunions near there, down on the lake.

I would love that smoker but damn those are $$!

Ask @Green Thunder what he thinks of them. He has the most poetic way to describe them.

Too damn funny. But, if you're not French, you're British (but not Scottish?). They were trying to conquer the world too. Between the two of you, you have three empires lurking. Unless you're Scottish, they've spent their entire existence trying not to be English.

I'm guessing something along the lines of buying that smoker is like getting hookers and cocaine; way overpriced but worth it one time??

I think it was more akin to the P&S was the girl you marry because she’s gonna be there stable and dependable until the end of your days, while the Yoder was more like the stripper girlfriend that’s hot as hell and gonna be a lot of fun, but ultimately leave you burned out with glitter stuck to everything.

    or something like that…

On one side of my family, you have to go back to the late 1600's to find ancestors that were born outside North America. The other side is 50% Scottish. We don't talk about the other half of that side...bloody english...

Exhaustion is finally kicking in and I'm dragging ass tonight. Going off the diet for a week has allowed me to have energy drinks again, so that's definitely helping.

Nice. I might have to get pizza one of these next days. I might try and behave and get back on the diet though.

Just remembered that I owe @tripleconpanna a pic of the Taco seat folded down. This is my standard setup because I seldom have passengers. I keep a couple things in the truck that I removed for the pic, but it's a solid platform. I wouldn't make a dog ride on it though. It's pretty slick with the plastic, so there would have to be a blanket/bed/cover for them to not go sliding all over in the turns.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I was chubbing over Yoders for years until I found a P&S dealer. Yoders are psycho red heads with fake titties. You wanna play with ‘em just once.

P&S is the smoker you marry. Which is very true, cuz I want the one that costs $5k.

Or just pull the rear seats, since no one over the age of 6 would actually fit in them…

This is the DC, so it's actually not terrible in the back. Wouldn't road trip it full of adults, but it is totally fine for anything an hour or less.

That's pretty damn sweet; cut a stall mat to size and they got a non-slip surface that won't slide around... (love me some stall mats)

Plus, if you want it to be squishy for them, you just drop a blanket over the stall mat and tuck the sides under like a fitted sheet and it won't go anywhere :D

Too heavy IMO, but I get where you're going with it. You could pretty readily put in some padded stuff that weights less. Heck, you could put some velcro strips down and put a blanket in.

That's what I've ran in the '08n since I've had it... Those seats folded forward flat, then you'd slide the assembly forward, and I built a platform to even out the rest of the space between the folded seats and the back window area...

It looks like your seats are dropping down like my '19 4Runner did where you flip up the bottom cushions toward the front then the backs drop forward

Weight wise, yeah a full 4x6' 3/4" stall mat can be heavy, but you're only using about 2 1/2' wide by 4' or so, and if you can find a 1/2" one and you'll be only about 35lbs...

I do. The cab names are different on the Taco. The Double Cab is the Taco equivalent of the CrewMax.
