Tundras live: Agree to disagree (a lesson in civility)

That’s been my technique lately. I keep the inside of the windshield clean cuz that’s where my OCD cooks off. Otherwise phuk it.

 

It's dirty as hell. Better than canned air shooting it back onto the dials.

 

Same here, that haze drives me insane.

 

Do they pay you any of your accrued PTO when you retire? If it's use or lose, I'd say use it. When I retired they wrote me a check for my accrued vacation time (A little over 10 weeks), and added a year to my service time since I had over a year of sick leave built up.

 

I'm throwing a rebar tying party, anyone in? BYOB, I'm cheap.

 

They do pay it off when you leave for any reason. When I left my previous employer I had 6 weeks banked. Where I'm at now I earn 9.2 hours per pay period, if I take a day every two weeks, I'm still increasing my backlog by 1.2 hours every two weeks. I have a current backlog of about five weeks, so even if I use a couple of weeks in the next year and a half, I'll still have a positive balance when I retire.

 

If I were close I'd help. You'd have to teach me and be patient, but I'd give her a go.
