I have not been able to find info on this. I apologize in advance if this has been addressed. I have a 2022 1794 crew max. It has almost all upgrade packages, is it supposed to have “puddle lights”? I have looked at bottom of side mirrors and only thing I see I am assuming is the camera? What am I missing here??

What I don’t get is that the tow mirrors have lights on the bottom, but can only turn on when in park. And no memory. Why wouldn’t Toyota have these activated as puddle lights / activate when you hit unlock or open the door? Mind bottling

I will look at mine. I don’t worry about them but I know there is a switch in the bottom left cluster

Installed the same VLEDs that @99ways2die installed but skipped the part that involved taking apart the boot in the door and the whole door panel. Not as clean of a cable run but same end result. Just ran the cable through the wire connector under the top plastic piece on the door. Can’t see the cable when the door is closed and this is what it looks like with the door is open.

Drilling the hole for the LED? Wasn’t bad at all! Had to get in there to snap off the little plastic piece to get it to fit flush like you did. No drilling for the wires though. There was just enough space inside to pull the existing connectors out of the way and slide mine through. Thanks again for all the help!
