I do like that one though. I hate the shiny black stock as the dust is impossible to keep clean.

 

Pretty sure that is his OE steering wheel, he’s in Canada. There are a few different trims in Canada that come factory with the steering wheel and shifter knob that only comes on the TRD Pro in the US.

Can confrm. I have a SR5 TRD Off Road and I have the same steering wheel and shifter knob.

Yeah it has a classic look with a bit of toughness and just enough poke to add some aggressive styling.

 

Yes the center console in shiny black plastic is going to get scratched every-time u clean it…no matter how careful you are. I went flat black also. Soooooo much better and won’t show anything.

I bought the matte black one, but yeah it seems like mixed reviews about those vinyl stickers. A lot of reviews say they don’t fit right. I’ll keep it on until they make some plastic ones.

 

Right now its anything to stop the sun from reflecting off it. What a bad design. I’ve had other vehicles with shiny plastic. Not sure if its a cost thing or Toyota thinks its cool, thing.

 

In Florida its a good option still. With this Waze and other tools simply fills in the awareness picture.

 

I chuckled too when I saw this…I love asking how much “they spent on the radar detector” as I issue the cite.

 

Installed a screen protector from screenprotech. Went on pretty easy and thats added some peace of mind. Also got my x-act contour liners from Husky. I’ve always had weather tech in the past but these are great. Tried to list my oem all weather liners but I don’t have enough posts. If anyone wants them shoot me a message.

 

I haven’t stroked a summons in years but doing a quick google, these things are averaging $3-600. Yikes

 

Plug and play installation and all I used was a rigid zip tie to pry out the factory door light. 5 minute install.

Fit my bike in it. Unfortunately it’s a bit long to work with the OEM bed extender unless I angle it.

 

Install the @dirtydeeds bolt on muffler. Props to Keith for great customer service over a holiday weekend! I'm waiting for the rtv to dry. I'll give an update on sound tomorrow.

If you're considering don't bother with the factory crush gaskets. I don't think you'll be able to keep them in place. The last picture is an extra resonator for the trd tips. It's the only part that requires cutting.

 

Ditched the gloss black flares. Now waiting on the mustache shell from @EC1 to complete the color match.

Did my first oil and filter…. Was planning on changing at first 500-1,000 mi., so at 1,152 I’m glad I did.
Couldn’t feel much grit or drag in it, but more discoloration and dirtier than I expected from 1,000 mi.

 

Added my bed step. Was super easy and definitely a necessary accessory. As others have said it should have come this way.

 

the vinyl overlay wont sit correctly in the "V" channel right of the gear shift, just a heads up.

tried that route, went with the plastic overlay instead.

 

same for me...tried to heat and stretch it a bit and it still lifted
