TRD grille camera mount removal

I found a grill for my limited without the front camera but of course the new Trd grille comes with the mount. Any of you attempted to remove it from the grill ? What did u used ? How does it look after ?

Are you asking about removing the front camera mount from the grill? Because you don’t need a camera and don’t want the open bracket?

I’m sure a hacksaw blade will cut it off but I don’t think it’s necessary, you can lots of people that have empty camera mounts it’s not the worst looking this. I have a pro grill with no light bar and that doesn’t look the best

 

I’ll bite the bullet and order it today can’t go wrong for that price anyway.

 

Let me know how it goes, I've been looking at TPD as well, located in Ottawa, and for the price can't go wrong, but from what I've seen on the 2022+ Tundra Canada Facebook Page, it takes a while for TPD to ship it out.

That's the mount I was planning to get. Saw another on etsy. Have you done this swap? Seen videos, make it look easy but not sure how true that is.

 

yes, on my Platinum. Easy but tedious. I did the swap before any of those videos were out...no problems but Im also very comfortable doing this kinda thing. Skip the 3D printed mounts, the Westcott is the one you want, just make sure you have the tiny torx bit needed
