Bought a 2014 crewmax about a month ago or so and love the truck. It has 112k on it and I have put about 4000 miles on it in that time and on my way back from a ranch in NM this past week I got a check engine light and the code was P0174 bank 2 lean

I cleaned the MAF sensor and unhooked the battery for about 30 min and after about 200 miles the CEL came back on.

I inspected everything again today and found a hose going on to my tube that goes from the air box to the intake and it doesn’t have a clamp on it. Would this cause enough of a vacuum leak to set the light off? I’m wondering if it didn’t get loose last week riding around ranch roads and I have a slight leak here

Yes that would cause a code and check engine light.

I’ll get a clamp for it tonight and see what happens. The truck runs like a top, zero hard starting issues, rpm’s are great. I have just been at a loss

Reset everything like you did before and add that clamp. You should be good to go
