I’m intermittently losing acceleration and cruise control will not turn on while driving. Any ideas?

If it was the old days, it would be a vacuum leak, but I have no idea if the same system is used in our truck.

I had similar problems with a Toyota with a bad throttle position sensor. Does it only happen in warm weather?

Do you have good high throttle response, but choppy/none on the low throttle?

Rather than play 20 questions... sounds like you need a brand new truck. Good luck!

This happened to my brother's 2014 Tundra. It was caused by the aftermarket LED brake light bulb shorting. How we notice was the taillight would flicker. Removed and replaced the bulb and issue went away. If you have any aftermarket LED bulb that may be the culprit.

I do have I taillight issue I haven’t addressed. But I have OEM taillight’s. So you are saying that the taillights have to do with my truck running properly OMG!
    Thank you for your input

Yup, we were puzzled ourselves, but that solved the issued. We first thought it was the TPS, MAF or a vacuum leak. We have OEM taillights too but added the LED bulbs.
