As a heads up to those requesting info. I’m not the person providing warranty quotes just passing along contact info that I received through the forum. There’s lots of info about it earlier in the thread but I get it, this thread has become a monster.

Also, I’m getting a ton of requests for the contact info. If there is anyone out there who has received it in the past and wants to help out you can copy and paste it to people in PM too. I just always reply to the main thread with PM Sent after so everyone knows those people have been taken care of.

I am in BC Canada and I have been told $38,00.00, can we do better here as well does anyone know?

 

We do not have the same market for extended warranties as the US and there is not a lot of wiggle room - although there is some. Do not accept what they quote and negotiate. Unfortunately there is very little data from Canada being posted on here, so we don't know exactly how well people have been doing in their negotiations.

I was able to get 84/120,000 for $2,850 (MB) and another member was able 84/160,000 for $3,050 (ON). So pushing for around $500 to $750 off is definitely doable.

 

Thanks TRD-JP, I will work them over hard, the one nice thing on the basic warranty is the free services for 3/36 and the tire warranty, however I was going to swap out the tires for an LT soooo...... I may wait for the 3/36 to swap and maybe even lift, but still deciding.....

For those of us in Canada as far as I know we are limited to our warranty choices however I'm not sure what it's like in the US. I Believe I will need to spend $3,800.00 ish. For the 7-year 160 plan. Some people had suggested it was less than that but that was last year for 2023 I think starting in March is when they increased the price.

 

Got my plan at the end of February. I don’t think prices have changed since then. If your dealer is telling you they can’t budge on prices just tell them you will buy your ECP from another dealer in Canada, which you can totally do. And tell them you have 30 days to decide. You should find the dealer can magically find a discount for you.

 

Just bought a ‘23 Sequoia, turned down the dealership platinum plan (7yr/100k) for $2600. Was going to call around these next few weeks if it’s worth the effort.

I’m in NC if anyone has experience and or information they can PM.

 

I did a bit of digging myself, there's a company called "Obvi Warranty" Extended Vehicle Warranty and Replacement Insurance (obvi.ca) - quoted me about 2.2k for a warranty on a new Tundra 2023 for 7 years to 100,000 km. Works like a health plan, apparently, you do a listed repair from the plan, they pay you back. They reserve the right to ask for papers for standard maintenance.

what options are there if an extended warranty was purchased with the truck but you want to augment it?

 

Depends on what warranty you already have. I believe that Platinum plan without deductible is the best one. This is the one that Jerry sells.

You can buy pre paid maintenance as well...

Get a quote from Jerry and maybe you can save money by canceling what you have now and buying from Jerry

I paid cash for my 10 yr 120,000 warranty and it cost me $2,500

 

I went with 8 year / 100,000 miles and got a great rate.
