Holy Grail of trucks!!

I was talking with my insurance guy at USAA and he commented when he saw I had a TRD Pro. He said "wow, that is the Holy Grail of trucks". I thought it was funny

More powerful than a locomotive and able to leap tall buildings at a single push of the accelerator, and all that, you know

 

100 more hp, 100 mph faster, 100 gajillion points cooler....

 

Holy grail may be a bit much but you see a lot of Tundra owners trying to make their trucks look like our Pros, so there is something special about them.

Also, even having owned my Pro for over a year it still gets me excited when I see it in my garage.

 

If my insurance chick said that to me, I'd be a bit concerned. $$$

Your right, I'm around Denali's and Dually's and tricked out trucks and the Pro still catches my eye!!

 

I was more surprised that they knew what it was. And how hard they are to get without getting bent over the rails...

 

Pro owners tend to get so excited when they see their trucks that they wag their tails really fast and pee all over the place.

 

and totally forget how much they are in debt and how much more their credit cards will be charged up.

 

No debt here, 48k pretty cheap for truck I don't have to spend any additional money into. My last duramax with lift, shocks and wheels only for the injectors to go, bad wiring this truck was a steal. Plus Fords go for 60k. Now that would have put me in debt.

 

I hear ya, I snagged this 2013 CM with only 23k miles on it for only 32k.

 

Haven't seen either one of those since high school. The Typhoon was super fun. There was one kid that had one and another kid had a Grand National. Not much to do in Southern Indiana but work on cars and...

 

Sorry, no debt here either. Paid 47K from the change I found in the seats of my 2002 Tundra SR5.

 

Yeah, actually not a penny of debt here either.

 

Why would you be in debt owning a Pro?

 

Yeah I’m starting to see how Tundra peeps try to make them look like PROs. Saw that all the time when in the BMW M3 and M5 world.

This is my first truck and one of the requirements had to be that it caused me to do double takes when walking away from and toward it like my M5 did.

Mission Accomplished!! Like my wife’s friend said today about it...”it’s a showstopper!”

 

Those where some fast mothers... A guy in town had one when I was younger always loved that thing.

 

I saw this guy with the Toyota Grill and a TRD PRO plastic emblem glued to the bed of his truck

 

One reason why I have steered my build away from the Pro look lol
