    Nah, when we were planning this thing out he probably said “no promises” at least 20 times :rofl:

    Not yet, I’m not going to leave the plate there. Once I decide where it’ll live permanently, then I’ll wire up a light for it.

    Something I didn’t realize would happen is that the corners of the radio would gouge the dash just from setting it there. :rolleyes:

    With the poke, have you noticed rock chips on the side of the truck? That was something I ran into on my truck with less poke, but I also live down a pretty crap road with lots of rocks.

    I just got them on yesterday, but I fully expect these chunky things to sling more. I didn’t have any issues with the KO2s though, and they had about .5” less poke than these.

    Definitely a solid option. Have you though about adding top plates to the sliders? That was one thing I opted for on the Taco because of how much crud made it up the side of the truck between the supports.

    They didn't have top plates either. Though, you could have fabbed something up without removing yours. Speaking of Dustin, I need to find a golf oriented gift basket to send to him. I'm loving this Tacoma so much!
