It looks like a puck, talks like a puck, might be a puck. And anyone dumb enough to use a name so similar ... would be acting like a puck. Either way, I don't give a puck. I love it when people PM me with death threats. Edge me, baby.

Probably still acts like 12 though.

Nah. Based on what I was reading online, the true RMS versions were labeled "Fluke 27/FM" on the front, mine doesn't appear to be. I haven't played with it much though, spent about 15 mins getting it working again and that's it.

I want to wire my reverse camera this weekend, so probably won't tinker with it much.

If you can, LMK! Your tag light bypass has the trigger lead added and that would work, but I may end up capping it to save popping wires out of the loom. I'll pre-wire it all either way.

Any chance you have a photo? I know, right, loooong ago. I don't remember seeing a clean connector for this one. I did T off the OEM terminals for lock and unlock on the passenger side (but I've since disconnected my pop-n-lock for the tailgate since I like to load without the key and it had all sorts of trouble doing it's job in the first place, poor design)

First thing we replaced this morning is this broken valve that's part of the power steering pump. Someone had broken the old one and plugged the rubber hose with a bolt.

Actually that’s the female side and can get male when back home if that’s what your needing. Thought you needed what
assassin10000 was showing which is the female end.
Or perhaps at my age I need female/male anatomy re-training :eek2:

Female and/or Male pins if you need them.

I think I changed that for him also in the parking lot of his apartments, or maybe it was his pcv valve. I'm pretty sure it was that though

Nah, must have been PCV. This valve he's had since 2021 but never installed. We all looked at it when you were here but didn't mess with it. His power steering was making as hissing sound when he turned. This new part solved that.

Ha! It would have been but he realized he's missing some bolts he needs before we cut off the exhaust.

His truck didn't come with fog looks lights so we installed those today along with new headlights. He just has to wire them.

Corner lights are begging to be replaced too.

I'm jelly of his fenders, I'd love to have those then pop the chrome off. Wish they came on DCs on this side of the country.

Awesome score. Bring me a load of the dirt from the cinders for my driveway.

On another note, truck looks like it has skateboard wheels compared to the 20's i've looking at all week.

I know it had been shown before but I though I would show the tension bearing install.
I got the wrong bearing it fits and will run but it is not as thick as the original. So I went and got the replacement. First bearing cost 9 dollars. Second bearing cost 82 dollars. Stupid easy to change but not cheap.

I was taught the female has hole, slides over the male. Male has protuberance, slides into the female. But these may be oddballs where the male slides over the female and the pins inside make it male, where as the female has a protuberance that slides into the male, but holes on the protuberance the male slides into. How fitting for the world today, we'd need to argue over whether it's M or F.

Assuming we are talking automotive wiring connectors, male vs female is all about the terminals. Connector shape isn’t all that meaningful. For sealed connectors it’s most common to see males fit inside females but for unsealed you typically see females inside males. So easiest to just look at the terminal.
