Mine is metal-clipped in. Modified the clip to fit in that spot. And I think the distance from the window /exterior and having the baffle of the gauge cluster, which my voice is directing at while driving, produces cleaner sound for the person on the other end.

My truck is due for some maintenance. Who had the best write up on flushing the coolant? PHM? Not sure if I really need to do a full flush or just drain the old stuff.

Drain and refill. Unless there's a reason otherwise - like you have the wrong color.

I did. They have the same t-tap kits I have which are OEM/port, and a few of the pigtails I have, one of which I sent to @Tundra2 with the mirror I kicked him a couple weeks ago for the Virus. I'm familiar with the vendor, he puts out solid stuff. But still no truly plug-and-play kit out there.

I love this a whole hell of a lot, sort of want it bad for mine but my dang bed is in nice shape.

Really I want an RSI bed replacement for an exorbitant sum in 8' long variation.

Drove almost 4 hours to Topeka, KS to grab this top. It’s an ARE MX, needs a new lock and one sliding window.

Met a nice younger Airforce mechanic. It was good to see similar values in life in a younger generation and a love for these trucks. Should have snapped a picture of the tundras next to each other but I forgot 8BC7B092-A3DD-46C9-B3E5-AD8E5EECC5ED.jpg 79AD2E4F-B564-430E-B4E4-ABE1F421716A.jpg

Something plug-and-play with no splicing/t-tap requirements.

Sell @Festerw your bed, then you'll need this or the RSI. :)

His truck would look interesting with an 8’ bed. DCLB FGT. That would be pretty legit though.

Shifty has high standards. Hard to believe he is OK with amp connectors on his truck :) :) :)

I could remake using only Yazaki :)

anyway, I’m game to order up some of those 5 ways if someone does the research on the males. eBay for the females seems like a decent deal.

I want to say my F250 DCLB 8' bed was 21' long.

There are spots that I'm not comfortable stepping on for too long in the floor so I'm not sure there's a big market for it.

It was also welded together on the left side previous to me getting it. I'm assuming related to the event that totaled it. It is fun though because the left side of the bed has a Linex badge from one place and a Rhino liner badge from another place on the right.

Got the Sequoia squared away with its CarPlay head unit only because I had a short amount of time to work with, maybe tonight will be headlights and tomorrow will be brakes.

Does that Sequoia have a factory locker? I know some did. Looking at the button next to 4WD.

That looks to be the switch to lock the front and rear diffs together. Makes it "part time" 4wd vs "full time"

Ah, but can you have full time AWD Lo?

because there are those people who try 10-point turns trying to back their boat into the water off the slippery ramp without hitting the concrete side walls that help define the ramp.

Wish I took a video last time I saw it. Very entertaining.

Please don’t judge me too harshly on my hasty stereo install haha the 04 still had the manual 4wd mode selection vice the push button

from what I’ve gathered so far….the system on these is like 4wd engaged is essentially AWD and with the center diff locked in 4H/4L it acts like the Tundra…references are one post from a Sequoia forum and a YT video I watched….9CD7814E-7657-45B3-9D87-91A8E21695FC.jpg

Ah, so there is NO AWD lo.

Once upon a time people had to get out of their vehicle to lock/unlock their 4wd hubs. That was always fun when you forgot and it was sleeting outside.

That’s pretty good. I wanted something pretty hidden. This made it a bit more low-profile and hidden from sight. My last truck had the mic on the plastic above the steering wheel. It was alright but I like not having it blocking anything or sticking out.
