I still have my chrome surround/ bulge that could be rhino lined and still keep my white surround/ bulge.

If I didn't have pro already, or a platinum grill I like too, then I'd go with a grill like that. Btw I really like it. I think it would be really cool if the 2 square pods could be put on during the day for extra visibility and the middle long only used at night on separate switch either off-road or when no one around tied into high beam. Should look great that grill with the nice contrast of the white bulge. The black might get lost and all blended together.

I was considering a pro grill but everyone seems to be going with them. I am still hoping to get a custom one built. I had a platinum grill in my last truck and wasn't a huge fan. I was planning on keeping the pods separate from the light bar. I currently have a Trigger light control system but thinking on upgrading to SPOD system ( if I can find a good price. )

Hey ur truck, do what u think best. Imo save the money, even a small piece like that if having linex or rhino can cost a little chunk. U already got the white which I agree with others will look best. Try that 1st. If U don't like whitehead a can of rustoleum truck bedliner spray and hit ur chrome 1. See if u like it better. If u do then pony up the cash for a nice permanent linex or rhino look. I think white will be nice contrast where black will lose the grill. The white bulge against the black grill will give u a nice sharp contrast making the black grill pop.

Nice, that or switch it up going with a Baja designs s8 lightbar that has an Amber backlight in middle. That way either the middle or 2 squares can serve a purpose during day making u more visible and the other providing the light when needed and no one around. Either s8 backlit with dquare pods off during day or vice verso with square pods on during day and middle off. Just thinking rather than hardly never being able to be used except off-road or when conditions allow, w/3 lights relatively close give urself a purpose of 1 or 2 during the day to increase ur visibility and serve a purpose more than once a blue moon at night. If it was me I'd go s8 BD bar in middle with a driving/combo pattern in white light but still has amber backlight during day. The 2 square pods I'd put BD amber squadron pros in a wide/cornering throw. Only use those off-road or when no one around bc u will blind shit out of people. That way at night under conditions that allow u would have maximum fields of vision covered. The amber pros in wide cornering are great in fog n snow allowing u to see way off to sides. The s8 amber backlit will increase ur visibility to others during the day and at night when conditions allow a separate switch or high beam will throw a nice pure white light far with some spot and rest lighting up all in front of u near n far. Just an idea if it was me.

I never knew there was backlit led bars out there. That is a good option. I have the anytime fog light mod done and with the led bulbs, I can drive with just these. Will have to look into a backlit bar though, that would look great. Thanks

Baja designs makes an Amber backlit bar in 10,20,30, ect inches. Also rigid makes many sizes backlit in colors like red, green, blue, yellow, and maybe more. I'm a huge fan of BD. I always do a ton of research before a purchase. They are the scientists of lighting. They make all their bars with a 5k light output. It's said to best emulate true daylight/sunlight and is easiest on the eyes creating less driver fatigue. It's pure white, no blue or yellow, just pure white light. Btw, it does look like ur driving in daylight with them on, its sick. I couldn't tell what size u got there in middle but I know their s8 in 30 is around 700. Obviously 10 or 20 is less. When it comes to off-road lighting I'm a big believer that they make the best lighting. It's yet another example of u get what u pay for. Imo if it was me with ur grill I'd go s8 in middle and squadron pro or sport in squares depending on budget and light output needed. The sports are more budget friendly and create a stupid amount of light, the pros are unbelievably bright. No need for highbeams with either lol. Another thing they do is u can buy topical lenses that can change both from white to amber and also change the beam pattern with simply popping a cover on top. So if u go wide cornering in white on sides, for about 15 bucks u can buy 2 covers that would allow u to with a quick 2 min switch have them also now in amber in a spot or other desired beam pattern. It's really cool shit they got. Rigid makes good stuff too, but imo with BD it don't get any better for true off road lighting. Do ur research and if I can help feel free to reach out. I'd say within the next few days I'll be able to show u first hand a s8 30" with the amber backlight. Both how it looks off in amber, off all the way, and on all the way. I'll show u just how sick this particular light bar is and how u can see very clearly very wide and far. There's a dude on the forums named Bailey at Baja. He's always running specials, giving us guys forum special pricing on top of normal forum discount, he's very knowledgeable and great about answering questions. His service is top notch. U can find him on here and tocoma site along with their site. Good luck hope this helped u out a bit.

Thanks again man! I'm planning to put in a front view camera in before long. So while I've got the dash apart, I'll get this done too.

JMO, I like the idea of custom grills, so I'd do it. For what you're looking at, I might black out those rivets. JMO

Were the buttons also chrome or where they already in black? if chrome, how did you manage to keep the white lettering, assuming you paint over it?

That's exactly how I would run them too. Just make sure you get the street legal pods so you don't get a fat ticket. The pro grills sell like hot cakes so if you decide to go that route someone would snatch it up very quickly.

Installed 8" stainless standard BAMufflers. Although I have the resonator I did not installed it yet. I like the sound as is (at least for now!)
I regret I paid top dollars for stainless steel living in Oregon. Oh, well....
    The sound is great!!!

Now I'm wondering if anyone wants to buy my stock pipes and muffler? taking OBOs
