I got my new rig in, starting a build thread.

    2023 Platinum Crewmax 4x4 Blueprint.

options : advanced package, all weather floor mats, spray in bed liner

Before I took delivery from the dealer I had them do the following mods:

    Color Match Grill Surround
    Color Match Fender Flares
    Color Match Rear Spoiler
Swap Center Caps to TRD center caps
Swap lugs to OEM Toyota Black Lugs
    Add another Key Fob
    Add OEM toyota bed mat.
    swap tires to Cooper AT3 4S 33"
Ceramic Coating (coming in 30 days when paint fully cures)

Once I got it I then added:

    Undercover Ultra Flex Tonneau
Protech Infotainment and Gauge Cluster Screen Protector
Carista - fake engine noise off and temp dial knob set to -2

    Coming next week:

Full Tint - 35% front windows, 50% rear windows, 50% back window, 35% pano roof, 80% front windshield
Full Wash System with Spotfree rinse (active pressure washer, cox reels, CR spotless rinse, foam cannon, etc (I'll make another thread)

    Future:

Audio improvement, I have all my old stuff from my other tundra, just using this stock for a bit to figure out what I want to do, then its go time. For starters, as we all know WAY too much bass is coming out of the doors and not sub, really JBL/Toyota.

Looks great! What led you to choose that particular tonneau cover? I've been considering the Peragon because it can be fully removed, locked, and it never blocks the rear window. Nice job getting the dealer to paint the grill surround too. Didn't know that was an option :)

I liked this tonneau the best as I had great luck with my last one which was undercover as well. the carpet underneath is a really nice touch

its also not part of the OEM/BAK recall fiasco and cheaper.

removing it would be super easy if you had to, but Ive never had to do that as it doesn't take up much room

My dad has the Peragon one on his 2018 TRD Sport CM. You can't have anything big (tall) in the bed with the way those panels fold, and you can't have stuff against the back. Only time we used it with a lot of stuff - tons of luggage and coolers - we had to get creative. We had to load and unload with the cover in place. Not optimal.

But, it looks great when it is in place.

That is why I passed on the Peragon. It looks cool and some of its features are great, but if you stuff your bed often and need to be able to open the cover to unload, you are out of luck. But their color choices are awesome to have.

for me , it’s why go with the hybrid rather than why not go with it

not sold on the hybrid, I don’t feel 3400 bucks is worth losing the under-seat storage , added complexity, and basically no mpg better. There is plenty of power in this one for what I haul and tow .

They need to add something more to make the hybrid worth it, like on board generator

Plus you avoid the regenerative braking ... tundradude34 and others list the brakes on non-hybrid models, as a big positive.

Congrats on the new ride !

ya, it really looks much better with color matched flares, tires look bigger and the wheels and tire combo pops that way

the piano black pieces looked cheaper IMO

too bad the grille cant be color matched :)

i imagine that would be dam $$$$$ to do that on top of the surround being painted. i can live with the dark chrome on our blueprint plat :)

but i have to agree with zoid, that looks dam good painted to match the blueprint
