I have an Ipod nano touch with tons of stuff on it and it won't play on my Tundra. If I can't get that to work in my truck I'm guessing trying to hook up my Sony Walkman is a waste of time as well.

    What’s an iPod namo ?

    quite retro.

nano’s were (and are) cool! Much easier to work out with instead of a full size phone.

Anyway. I helped literally zero. Good talk.

Yes, the truck doesn't respond. It worked fine in my 2021 Gladiator and 2018 mustang and 2016 Challenger

My nano 7gen works but it also has Bluetooth. Will not work on Apple car play, only my 13 will work on that.

I'll ask the question I'm sure you've heard before. Is there any reason you can't move this stuff over to your phone?

you sure your hooking it up to the right port? not all of them are data ports, most are just charging.

I tried connecting my ipod and couldnt get the truck to recognize it. Was hoping it would detect the file paths at least but it didnt. Tried every USB port, nothing worked other than it charging. Might need something with bluetooth

Might have to mod the ipod and add bluetooth.

It is too old of a device for the headunit to recognize. This is laid out in the Multimedia Owner's Manual..

Its not uncommon for people to get their new phones and hang on to the old one as a backup. If this were an issue for me i'd be looking for an inexpensive outdated phone but not as ancient as the ipod Nano that stays in the truck as a music player.
