What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Depends on options. My 2018 SR5 had a sticker MSRP of 51.8k with everything that was added.
No way in hell I would have actually paid that for an SR5 let alone a used one. But its a crazy market still and you know someone will buy it at that price or more.

 

not today, but Saturday night I plugged in a Diode Dynamics C1R hitchpod light. Now I have a 4th brake light when the RTT is on and blocking the 3rd brake light on the cab.

 

I've been wondering what the topo caps looked liked on the 304's. Think I might have to pick up a set now, looks way better than the stock caps.

 

Installed the Morimoto DRL elimination relay, so the front turn signals are just that now. Ghostly silent turn signals still make me double-check that it's flashing, but it's nice to have just the headlight white bars up front now.

 

Painted my chrome handles to color match. Not bad for rattle can

 

Installed this.....replacement for the Pedal Commander.

 

Installed the Jowett Performance billet oil filter housing. Between that and the Fumoto oil pan drain valve, oil changes just became a zero-mess 15 minute speed change. Fantastic. Only complaint is not about Jowett but about the manufacturers of 2.5" deep socket tools, inconsistent manufacturing sizes on many of them, but the one I got from Jowett's a perfect fit.

 

Anytime camera installed. Should have done this sooner lol

Going to add a little spacer to bring it out more but It's not bad as is.

 

Got the lift installed today! Took about a full day, spread over a few days…

Fox 2.5 adjustable coilovers w/reservoir 0-3”
Total Chaos UCA
Fox 2.5 rear shocks w/ resevoir
Toytec Progressive AAL (Deaver leafs)

Ended up being 4” front and 2” rear lift, which is about level now. Wanted the 3” front but kind of like the lift as is now

 

Any info on how to go about doing this? I would love to add this feature!

 

3/4 of the way through the camping/fishing build in the back. Still need to add a fly rod compartment and possibly insulate the ceiling and sides. Spar urethane'd the sleeping platform already and will do the shelf side sometime this week when the weather permits. Also added a 1/2" raised lip around each shelf layer but forgot to take a picture.

I ordered and installed AVS vent shades yesterday. Didn't bother taking pics because it's not much of a mod.
I ordered AVS because everyone seemed to like them on here. There was quiet a bit of flash around the edges that I had to remove with a razor blade and the 3M tape was installed a little crooked in a few spots. I would've preferred they include the tape unistalled and let me install it myself. Otherwise, not bad. They'll do their job, I guess. But, for $70, for a few pieces of injection molded plastic, I'd like to see the edges cleaned up and the tape put on cleanly. Otherwise, charge $40 and I'll clean them up and install the tape myself.

 

And I just realized, that's like saying "VIN number", or "ATM machine".

 

Same, per my sr5 sport's sticker it was 51 new. Leased by original owner and I bought it used off a dealer once the lease was up.

I had one the other day as well.

 

It got *REAL* aggressive for how far we could stretch the pronunciation "CAC" when "card" wasn't also said. Definitely safer in the new Army to include "card" at the end.
