Just got mine done today. PPF color looks good in the sun little more white in the shadow but I am pleased on how it turned out. Much cheaper then painted parts and ads some protection.

Looks great, that’s the color that matched my 1st gen. Venza. Did they have to remove the mustache?

Impressive stuff. Do you soil your pants every time you pull the tape off? I definitely would! Is this more expensive or less expensive than wrapping?

i was basing my opinion on your profile pic not the pics you posted. your profile pic shows an aftermarket bumper that pretty much hides everything but the mustache

Those with black emblems on the TRD grill- did you buy a black emblem or paint the old one? What color?

Like I said its a little more white and that definitely shows in my pictures. In person with the pearl metallic coming through better it looks a lot closer. A metallic white is never going to match 100%. My door sills look like a different color when I stare at it. I would say a paint color match is probably a 9/10 match this wrap would probably be a 7.5/10. I'm happy with how it looks in person for the cost , not sure if double the price for color labs is worth the gain. I might change my mind down the line after spending money elsewhere is finished and revisit getting a painted oem parts but at $1200 I have better uses right now

I agree that's why I said color labs is probably a 9/10 and the ppf I did is more like 7.5-8/10.

May be an in between stage- still debating the bumper piece in chrome, black or wind chill. The TRDOR grill is dark grey not black.

The process was pretty easy though I did break 2 tabs on the top piece.

one note for owners of 1794 (and perhaps others). The wheel wells have some insulation and 2 additional bolts in the bottom - the YouTube videos seem to not have or skip this part. Looks like this :

Do you have a part number for the platinum badges you got to replace the chrome on the 1794 badge? Also, are the entire 1794/chrome pieces just stuck on with adhesive/3m? Thanks!

Check the ultimate oem parts thread for the platinum badge numbers. I got mine from a guy who removed his. Youlll need to remove all the factory tape and break the plastic welds that hold the 1794/ platinum badge in place. It’s a tight fit so just taped them up and called it a day, almost a year later and no issues

What options did you go with to match? How’s the match to the windchill pearl

I ordered the 3-piece grille surround and the upper bumper fog lamp piece from PaintedOEMParts.com. The color match is absolutely perfect. Since the above pictures, I've added a gloss black overlay to the front emblem. I'll upload a picture below.

Much appreciated. I kinda like the grille itself. It has grown on me. I had debated swapping that out with the TRD Pro grille, but the smoke chrome grille surround removal makes it appear less large and gaudy.

I agree looks really good. Did you install yourself or take somewhere once you received? All in from paintedoemparts how much was it?

I swapped it out on my own. All 4 pieces cost around $1k at the time I ordered them. That cost included shipping from CO to NY. I only had around 170 miles on the truck when I replaced the smoked chrome pieces, as I will be trying to sell those. They are in new condition.

Here is the YouTube video that gives excellent instruction and made the process very easy:

If you don’t mind me asking, how did you color match that bottom piece below the fog light bezel? This looks awesome and would love to try and make it happen on my AG limited!

That picture wasn’t my truck, but I know you can get a color-matched fog light overlay from chromestoppers, or buy a whole new painted piece from paintedoemparts.com.
The overlay is probably the cheapest route
