Thank you, I really appreciate it. I want to say the fuel pressure is around 150 and the boost is around 10 but I'm not 100%. I'll see what read outs I get from the gauge in a couple weeks. Still have to tinker with it and look everything over.

Sweet ride you got there, I'm sure it's a blast to drive. I'm curious if you changed the compression ratio when rebuilding? Any upgrades to the top end? What "valvetrain issues" did they encounter? Would you mind posting a pic of the way the Motec is mounted in the engine bay?

Thanks brother, stayed with factory compression. The build consisted of FORGED ROSS PISTONS- MANEL RODS-ACL ROD MAIN BEARINGS-BALANCED CRANKSHAFT-MACHINE HONE CLINDERS.

The valvetrain issues appeared to be from the Manley springs and retainer kit.. issue was finding a the correct shim and torque. It produced a ticking noise and they weren't happy with it so the heads were looked over in depth and the result was to go back to new factory springs/retainers and the noises went away.

I'll see if I can get the wife to take a picture for you or I can do it in a couple weeks.

Welcome and nice build! That’s a lot of power to put down through those big tires. It looked like in the video PS shared if your truck it was hitting about 17psi, which is what I’d expect between the RCF TB, 4.5” intake, crank pulley, and what looks like a pretty small blower pulley. The real question here is, do you have a dragy to see what it really does!?

Thank you, I appreciate it. Yeah I plan on getting the Nitto MT420V Or the newest version of that tire for the 20inch rims I mentioned earlier. I had an idea that the truck was putting down over 10psi, but just wasn't sure. If you noticed that in the video than that should be pretty accurate. The truck did get the upgraded 65mm Harrop pulley.

The dragy is on my list, I plan on picking up the latest model and will keep y'all posted for sure.

What's the drive out price on a package like this? ballpark it for me.

Damn, 65mm pulley lol. I’m tempted more and more to drop pulley size to 75mm. If they made a 77.5mm I’d probably do it right away and see how it runs. The drop to 75 has me leery though. I’m all for incremental changes.

If there was enough interest from the Harrop dudes maybe our resident machinist @snivilous would be interested in expanding the SnivSpeedShop product line for Harrop pulleys. I have an 85mm I could send out to aid in development. :D

So we don't offend any machinists, I'm not a machinist, though I do have some machines :D If you guys are willing to pay, I'm willing to try it. Though imo I think you'd be better off just going to the 75mm.

They work very well. They come with caps to silence more, but it was too restrictive. I had the the bolt flanges spliced into the Corsa. I have the three ring, but they have a single and a double. You can always get the three ring and drill some holes to open it up a bit. I actually think my truck likes the back pressure.

Definitely tempted by the 75. My concern is I think I could get away with the 77.5 on my current fuel system without any changes. The 75 might put me on the cusp. I think 77.5 would be +1 psi over the 80, and the 75 is likely +2. I’m figuring on an extra 20hp per psi or so, not sure if it’s worth the fuel system revamp. If I was smart I’d just leave well enough alone probably. :goingcrazy:

Found a local dyno place, going in Friday afternoon with the Tundra and the laptop and see what happens :D Gonna be a solid 90+ degrees out which kind of blows, but better to have your baseline in worst case conditions I suppose :D

Sweet. What elevation is the dyno at? Wondering what you’ll be seeing for boost with your 2.0 pulley.

It's down the hill, looks like 2600ft which is the same elevation I made my last Dragy run and was at 10.7psi. I'll also try tweaking some things, cam timing, optimum torque, and injector constant/MAF I've seen done different ways so want to see if there's any appreciable difference modifying those versus what I've been running. Dude said it was $130/hr which is a lot cheaper than I was expecting so I figure I'll spend a few hours on it trying to learn as much as I can.

123ft above sea level. You talking about the pulley now or if I go to a smaller one?

How did you figure 2600ft?? Highest spot in Huston is 150ft above sea level based off of Dr.Google

I was replying to Snivilous, referring to the elevation that he was going to be running his dyno testing at. His reply of 2600’ was his answer to me.

I’d love this as well. I asked on the FB group. I’m pretty sure ViktorG figured out how to run the Nick Williams TB.
