Bed storage question

Hello all, I have a 19 crewmax and I'd like to add some kind of storage "shelf" to my bed were I can put a few things out of the way. Thinking that it should be up off of the floor and toward the front of the bed, maybe right behind the window, or under the side windows of my Leer cap. I have flip up side windows, so access should be easy.

I'm open to ideas, so bring on the creativity!

I had a work truck that had side opening windows. I built mine out of garage door hanger with locking washers and nylock nuts. Insert your plywood shelf and done
