I can't get dragy to work but when I put the hammer down I'm going 80 waaay too soon.

For some reason lately it takes a while for the dragy to aquire satellite’s. I turn mine on and drive around for about 10 min before i try and do a pull with it. Make sure its showing a speed while cruising around to verify it has good gps signal then come to a stop, hit reset, and let her rip!

 

I noticed that and put the magnet in the sunroof panel that covers it so it's just under the glass. It's practicallly on the roof.

I duct tape mine to the dash lol

 

Mine sticks right to the Rago dash plate on the center of the dashboard, but the AZ heat took a toll on the Dragy and warped the plastic a bit during last summers heat. Lesson learned, I can't leave it there all the time. Now it resides in the center console tray when not in use.

 

Yea I leave it in the center console normally, the duct tape was a good lazy option to mount it

 

I am sure it was fine but I was not thrilled with the gap so did this.

Why did you open it up?

 

Leaky valve cover gasket. Had the noticable smoke coming from rear of engine, and obvious leak in same area when I finally checked it out. Replacing all the gaskets and pcv bits. Also the spark plugs were toast

 

So it looks like the leak was actually coming from this sensor in the back, but sob it's hard to get to. Any tips @e30cabrio ?

What sensor is it? I'd bet there is a specialized tool to access it.

 

Pops is working on the rig. Fun fact the Prospeed TB adaptor doesn’t fit the whipple. The whipple adapter is very nice has a bell end for smooth flow transition into the blower.

Guess @snivilous we will need some plates made haha. Rcf tb vs stock pic added. So we have a new tb Prospeed adapter for sale if anyone’s needing one lol

I got it off finally after a few videos. Just need to replace the o ring in it. It's the exhaust camshaft sensor

 

@reywcms How far off is the bolt pattern? Or is it just rotated?

 

Bolt pattern not sure but the plate itself is wayy too small. The outside of the Prospeed plate fits inside of the whipple 102 inlet basically lol

Lol the issue is the prospeed is too small. The inlet for the whipple is larger than the whole plate lol

 

This is what I installed. There are different versions. It is definitely more tame, if you want to look into it.

Old man got the maggy box in. He’s gotta do a little tweaking and order other clamps but works for now.

 

Still have not pulled the trigger on a Supercharger, hows the Whipple working out?

 

He likes it much better than the maggy. I’ll have mine here soon and give more feedback between the two as well.

He noticed a much better mid range on the whipple on top of the other efficiencies over the roots.

Greetings Everyone, so I picked up the truck in 2020 and knew I wanted to make a fun project out of it. I saw Viktor's review on Harrop and liked what I saw, about the same time I saw PS's YouTube clip previewing a SC'd Tundra and fell in love! I pulled the trigger and had them throw all the sauce/ everything they offered. Details below

Another Prospeed Supercharged Tundra is leaving today. Marks 1794 edition received our Max package which makes over 700whp on pump E85. This build features the following options:

- Prospeed/Arrow forged shortblock/ARP hardware
- Harrop 2650 supercharger
- Prospeed 4.5" race intake system
- RCF Throttle body, w/ adapter
- XAT crank balancer w/ 7" lower and Griptec upper
-Prospeed complete E85 flex fuel system with billet rails and twin 450 pumps, 1000cc injectors
- Radium catch can system
- American Racing headers/midpipes
- Corsa 3.0in exhaust ( with the power on this exhaust system the cats blew out)
- Prospeed Motec package with D3 PCM flash
- XAT ported oil pump
- Prospeed premium transmission valve body
- Powertrax differential
- Prospeed/BTI 4.3" touch screen gauge display
- Solid Offroad motor mounts
- Prospeed full shield kit
- SDHQ Traction bars

Truck was tuned on the roller w/ 18x9 Method 305s, on a LT325/65R-18 FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T3W E tire, if I remember correctly each tire was a little over 100lbs. Truck made a little over 705/663. I'll post updates after memorial day weekend once I finally get to drive it, The better half has been starting it and driving it for me.

Future plans are built trans w/ upgraded tans pan when the time comes. Explore pully options, upgraded radiator, look into the pros/ cons of a meth kit. I also have a lighter set of 20 in wheels that'll put a nice street tire on.

Also thank you Mark for your patience on this build. We had ran into some valve train issues which we had never encountered which threw us for a loop, which we went into figuring out in depth with over 200 hours of investigation that will help all future builds.
