Schlotzsky's changed their sourdough pizza recipe... I don't like it anymore. :violent:

I remember Schlotzsky’s. I liked the fact they used shredded lettuce on their sandwiches.

Forgot about this place. Haven't seen one since I left FL. My friend Carrie was managing one in Tallahassee. I used to get their turkey bacon club all the time. Good stuff. That new smoke cheesey sandwich looks tempting.

This also is the stuff @alb1k and I use, for sure. It's tint-safe, whereas Windex and other ammonia-based window cleaners should never be used on tint.

The other trick? You'll never believe it! Fine (000) or ultrafine (0000) bronze wool NOT steel wool. Every Ace hardware I've been in carries it. I usually get Homax brand. It won't scratch the glass but it'll readily pull up crusty boogers and shit off super nasty glass.

Throw a towel across your dash, lather up the window with Sprayway, and use the bronze wool in a circular pattern until things feel smooth with no resistance. This works on the inside and the outside. Wipe the window free. Clean with just spray and a towel the next time. Once dry, buff with a clean, dry terrycloth unless you're pissed and don't want to clean anymore.

Sprayway typically won't streak. But the difference is obvious if you buff your window with a clean, dry terrycloth after.

Ford dealers have been getting slapped pretty hard for marking up over list, so there may be a chance. They're still trying to make that extra $10k - $15k per unit by adding on nonsense prep & packages. If you want a loaded truck you've got a shot. A basic truck & your butt will hurt. So load that baby up.

I read the Polestar is going to be level 3 self driving. *
    Anyone else seeing a pattern?

How long can we treat the computers as property & deny them self determination?
The future is going to be... interesting.

    * Here’s Why Volvo Is Delaying EX90 SUV Production (autoweek.com)

Among other things, the Volvo and Polestar models are expected to offer Level 3, eyes-off and hands-off driving capabilities, developed with Luminar, at least in those markets where regulations will allow them.

Yeah, it really depends I guess. The Raptor should already be fully loaded as is but there’s always the dealer add-ons to be concerned about. $55.5k base price isn’t exactly appealing.

Agree - $55.5k + for something that will return to the earth in7-10 years is a bad spend in my book. Of course if you moved out of the rust belt.... :)

Yep, that’s the plan. First year or two it will be covered in a gallon of fluid film since there’s no better way to protect a fully boxed frame rail.

Looks like sprayway comes in a can or bottle, we have any preference on that? Bottle seems more economical.

    Hey folks.

Ya'll have been super helpful with getting my new (to me) Tundra in better shape! Thought I'd see if you might help me again...

I'm trying to price a set of rims and tires. They are original Enkei 18s from an 05 (or 06?) XPS mounted with 285/60/18 K02s. Rims are in good condition, what you would expect for 15+ year old rims. Tires are in great condition--maybe 80-90% tread left. I'd like to post them on the forum here and locally.

Anyone care to give their thoughts on a fair price?

    Uhhh....

I agree. And steel is actually recycled, near-universally, but it at least rots and breaks down if it gets to a landfill.

Plastic recycling is a farce, and glass is hit or miss whether it gets recycled. I'll always buy steel or alloy cans first, then glass, then plastics for that purpose alone.

Plus it pisses me right the fuck off when I'm going to get a line wet at some fishing hole and I'm seeing styrofoam cups (for worms or drinks) and plastic bottles everywhere.
