Is 5year/55k Toyota Care Plus for $935 worth it?.

I wouldn’t think that’s worth $935 don’t all Toyotas come with a 2 year maintenance included right now? I just can’t imagine maintenance from years 3-5 is going to be more than $935.

 

They told me it will cover "major services" at 30k, 45k. without thinking I bought it, now reading online there is nothing major about those services other than "inspect" bunch of things.

I have a 22 Crewmax going on 18 months with 31k miles. Looking to shop around for extended warranties before the window closes for me in the next few weeks (36k mile mark)
Anyone know what the going rate is these days? Can't trust any of the dealerships near me.
Is it possible to buy directly from Toyota and bypass a dealer all together?

On any extended warranty I bough with my 2005 tundra it was 100k from the mileage I had on the truck. Not 100k total. But maybe it’s changed.

 

New vehicle warranties (i.e. before 3/36 runs out) as long as I have been buying them have always been from initial in service date. Maybe you had a used vehicle warranty bought after the 3/36 expired. They would generally be from the mileage you had on the truck at time of warranty purchase but are more expensive too.
