Engine Bay Light

Has anyone added an engine bay light? I know a lot of vehicles come with one and it is super convenient. Id like to get some ideas from yall and Im interested to know if anyone has added one. I don't believe anyone makes an engine bay light specific to the 3rd gen tundra.

 

I just throw a headlamp on that I keep under the back seats. Cheaper than installing something and I can use it anywhere on the truck. I find that works better because I can point the light where I need it as opposed to being stuck with wherever a hood light is pointing. Which is rarely down into the area I need it.

 

I don't know how much headroom the 3rd gen has in the engine compartment, but I did this with my 2.5 gen with an extra LED light bar I had hanging around; third pic you'll see the red on/off switch:

 

One of these could work, I have one installed under my Diamondback Cover. Battery operated and has some auto switching features.

How long have it had it installed? I wonder how well it will do with the heat long term.

 

I've had this setup for about 4 years now, bar still works fine.
