Any experience buying from Apex Off-Road?

Discovered a leaking rear driver side shock while investigating an occasional noise I'd hear from the rear. Found Bilstein 5100's for $220 a pair for the rears shipped free on Apex Off-Road's site. Was curious if anyone's purchased from them here. Expect I'll do the front suspension later this summer, but would like to keep things fairly near the current Toyota TRD OR package stock height, and these seem to fit the bill.

 

~$223 after tax and free shipping on Amazon similarly priced....

It could be that the seller on Amazon is totally legit and everything, but it's very important that you scroll through Amazon posts and see who it lists as "Sold by / Shipped by" because if it's not Amazon.com it's not actually Amazon and you could absolutely get a knockoff part unknowingly. It's the new eBay, keep an eye on it from here on. Ask me about my knockoff TRD rear swaybar I now want to replace.

Plus, that's actually $3 more than Apex, heh heh.

 

I'll reach out and see if he cuts extra deals, couldn't hurt to ask!

 

I've yet to experience that but Amazon returns are super easy and convenient if I ever get counterfeit parts etc.

also bought the strut shim and firestone ride right airbag kit. The 5160 in a few days and the struts in 6 days couldn’t have had a more pleasurable transaction.
