The truck takes turns at speed without any noticeable swaying. I can't tell the difference between the two, except that the suspension has more articulation over uneven terrain.

I've got an article coming out on TrailTundra.com for "How To Fit 37's" on 3rd Gen Tundras. I'll post it here once it's out.

Nice! I was worried it would drive like a boat with no sway bar lol

Very True thank you. They used the lug nuts that came with the wheel.

But at least with volks/gram lights, you can get close to OEM offset. They both go up to +36, I believe.

I thought Gen 3 had a 106.10 hub diameter. Maybe I missed the memo.

I think the 106mm hub bore comes on the tacos and four runners. Our Tundras get the 95mm bore which makes it interesting for aftermarket wheels.

Boubonator's wheels will not require any hub rings to fit snug. My wheels are 95mm bore as well.

I still trust what I was told by discount tire and 4 wheel parts. They both said with the Gen 3 and fuel wheels no hub spacer was needed. I wish I would have looked at it closer when the wheels were off. But I can say that at 80mph I feel nothing!
So either I have the right lug nuts or they are not needed because the hub Lines up I don’t know.

Wanted to add one more thing. Maybe most don’t know but you can get Black wheel weights from discount tire…I asked when they did my wheels and they said sure no additional charge and I luv it. You cannot see my wheel weights at all the blend right in the wheel and mine are the gray fuel rebel 6…

The smooth ride seems to be what others are experiencing too. That's great that you don't need the rings. I was pretty concerned about this when I was wheel shopping because of my VW a few years back, Got new wheels and they didn't have hub rings to fit. I couldn't drive over 30 mph without massive vibrations. Once the rings went in, it was smooth as expected.

My wheels fit snug to the hubs and of course they are smooth, but it seems that the way the wheels bolt on, might be why they run smooth regardless of the hub bore and use of rings.

i can say fuel wheels come with 3 hub rings that will not fit the 3rd gen tundra. they had to send a 4th set that actually fit the hub.

edit: i ran the wheels w/o a hub ring for about a week and no issues, but we didnt do any highway speeds until the rings came in.

I’ve been running my Rays Gramlights without hub centric rings for about 6k miles now with no issues. No vibration even at 75+ mph.

I got hub centric rings from Amazon that fit nicely with the Gramlights but I couldn’t run it together with the Ray’s center caps. So it was either center caps or hub centric rings. It look weird without center caps and you can see the ring. So I ran without rings.

Came without tpms, couldn’t find any with. Tried to sell the OG 20’s with tpms intact, but no takers so I just swapped them out for $80.

Stock suspension so far. Have a leveling kit that I’ll probably throw on. Have rear air…. I’ll see how she sits. No rubbing at stock height though.

I'm trying to decide between Falken Wildpeak AT3W's and Toyo Open Country AT3 in the 35x11.5x20 size. What I'm having trouble with is that the Falkens are 65 lbs but a D load rating while the Toyo's are 56 lbs and an E rating. Typically I would think the D's would be a smoother more comfortable ride and generally lighter but it seems that the Falkens are unusually heavy. The Falkens are rated better on Tirerack.com though and I'm going to be on road 95% of the time. Why did you choose one of these over the other? TIA

I would not put a 65 lb tire on unless you really really need it, thats really heavy at almost 30 lbs more per corner over stock

I have a 2022 SR5 and have been back and forth on wheels/tires combos. I’m getting the 1.75 RC level installed soon.

the truck came stock with 18s. Can someone confirm I can switch to 20s with 295 tires without any rubbing or modifications needed? Or should I stick with 18s? Any help would be appreciated

I have 295/60/20's on mine with a 1.75 RC level. My wheels have an offset of +15 and I had to remove my front mud flaps and pin back the liner. A better approach would be to look at a 285/65/20 which is a bit narrower.

Well I guess I will contribute. I did a bunch of research. I like the tall and skinny tires. I looked at 255/85r17 Mickey Thompsons but they are E rated. That is what I would have gone with if I really wheeled a lot. Instead went with Kenda 35/10.50r17 as they are D rated and the only other game in town.

Went with the below wheels and lug nuts.

    Method Race Wheels 314 Matte Black 17x7.5" 6x5.5", 25mm offset 5.2" Backspace, MR31477560525

    Lug Kit | 4 Wheels | Full Kit - Black × 1
    6 Lug | 14x1.5 | EXTENDED | LK-W5614SEB

This is on a 2022 SR5 TRD Offroad.
1.75 RC spacer lift in the front. Dead level at 40" front and back to the bottom of the fender. Tires measure 33 3/4 tall from the bottom to the top using a level with 35 PSI.

No rubbing and nothing pinned or removed. I think there would be no rubbing even without the spacer lift.

One of the tires took 6 ounces but the tech said it spun smooth.

You can run 295/70/18 tire on the stock rims and not rub because I did it.
    No issues

    as far as my wheel
    It’s a Fuel Rebel 6
I luv the wheel really fits the truck
They come in Grey with black ring mine
    Bronze with black ring
    And
    Black
My rim is a 18x9 with +20 offset
Fits perfectly with about 1/2 inch of poke if that.

Also it’s about 4 lbs lighter then a
35x12.5x18 and taller witch I wanted.
With the 9inch wide wheel the tire looks good. Squared off more then a more narrow rim with bulging sidewalls…Looks very good looks right like factory…Toyotas version of the Ford Rapture!
    If you know there stance…
I get asked all the time for my specs on the wheel and tire. The truck just looks right I’ve been told. I guess 2 months of studying rims and tires paid off lol.
