Wow! I just found this thread tonight by accident by looking around the forum for something else. It’s golden Jerry, golden i tell ya!! Little off quote but some may get it. Anyway, my rant/response to begin now….yes I have a 6 inch lift with 37 inch tires, but why does that bother some of you soooooo dang much you have to call us (for the sake of discussion those with similar set ups) names and be so arrogant and disrespectful and think your choice of stock height/tires or only a 3 inch lift with 35 tires should be installed the correct and only choice? It absolutely boggles my mind. I have zero issues with whatever set up anyone has on their truck, zero. I have had this discussion with others before in this forum via other threads and mainly heavy off-roaders that claim my size is not needed to clear any obstacles and more dangerous. Yes I understand that and my response has always been, why does what i do to MY truck and with MY money matter to you so much? Just say you don’t like it or don’t even look at it and move on. I did not lift this or install the larger tires to be a heavy duty off roader or for whatever reason you pick, it was done simply because some (me specifically) just love a higher truck. Why can’t that be enough for some of you? No some of you just keep going on and on how ugly and not useful my set up is etc etc. What you negative Nannie’s (my term for you guys and you know who you are and I don’t need to Quote each response individually and will just use this one post) don’t get is some guys like me feel bad for you! You are probably also one of the guys that make fun of or care about another grown man wearing cargo pants or crocks, yes I sometimes do both, but I have never looked at another man to see what he is wearing or more importantly care. Guess since I am older now and retired I see the world different than you younger guys & I do believe most of the negative Nannie’s on here are probably in their 20’s & 30’s and don’t have the life Experiences like us older guys. I don’t hate young men, I have several sons myself who mean the world to me. Heck I even had one member start making fun of my deceased wife in another thread. Now how childish and related to trucks is that? But none of that gets me down. I’m here to maybe sway one of you negative Nannie’s onto my side with positivity and kindness/friendship. We don’t all have to agree on things and I have no problem if you have your own opinion and don’t even like my truck. That’s one thing, it’s another to start calling others names and saying they are retarded for such high lifts, or they are midgets (i btw am no small man and I love those little peeps), etc you get the point. I have said this in other posts and will continue to say it when needed & here would apply…..going thru life always being negative and/or hateful to everyone/everything (work, personal, etc) you will live a most miserable and lonely life vs being positive and friendly/respectful to others. Trust this old man on that. And to the poster hating on bmw and Audi’s, I currently own several vehicles (grew up dirt poor and now live very comfortably, so don’t judge) and currently right now have a 21 BMW M5 competition. Until you drive or ride in one of these you can’t make that decision lightly. It’s smooth as silk and fast as F! Stock runs high 10sec and mine is far from stock. Just saying you can absolutely love your truck but calling another vehicle a pos without really owning one or riding in one is not fair. IMO of course. Nothing I say is fact, just my believe/opinion and like someone once said….opinions are like as#%^*+s, everyone has one…..now hopefully I can bring one of you out of the darkness into the light…..let the hate, I mean debate, proceed……..btw, I don’t think I’m hijacking this thread as it got well of course many pages back, but will apologize to the OP none the less..:hattip:

(P.s. yes my mpg sucks and my Speedo is off, but I absolutely love my ride height/feel and I will still wave to you as we pass on the street as most truck owners do even if you are pointing at me saying how gaudy mine looks to you….:proposetoast:)

Hope you have a good day @FREEDOMcomesatacost . For what it's worth you could put lawnmower tires on it and paint it pink I wouldn't care. Have a good day sir.

Wish we all could be like this in real life, but there are so many haters or negative Nannie’s. I don’t know which side you fall under as I am not familiar with too many members, but I appreciate the kind gesture and wish you the same on the good day. Finally thought, Yes we could just ignore the haters/negative Nannie’s but why not try to get one or two to change sides? I think its worth a try plus I have all this free time now….:D

I have no idea what you’re talking about but if people on here are really doing as your post says then I’m surprised. Usually this is a pretty respectful bunch.
I’m one of those that could care less how you spend your money. Whatever makes a person happy.
If that is your truck in your signature, I think it looks bad ass.

This is an Internet forum. 92% chance you’re doing it wrong. And don’t worry, people will be glad to tell you. Don’t expect politeness and decorum from people who don’t have to say it to your face. Ignore the haters. You do you and enjoy it. I think your truck looks cool too. Not for me, but it’s not mine, it’s yours.

Another false & derogatory statement like the little man syndrome. Even if I was 4 foot tall and had your sized mini me (sorry couldn’t resist) then again it comes down to why does it bother you soooooo much what I do to MY truck and with MY money that you have to keep insulting and insulting. IMO it’s because your life is not going so well and you hide behind the keyboard posting hateful stuff (most of the times from your parents basement) to people that are happy. I promise you being nice is so much easier and your life will be so much better. Even though you say stuff like this I don’t even hate you and wish you the best. I am in my 50’s retired early and have a very nice life (financially and close family/friends) I believe is due to my positivity and treating all people (even the haters and negative Nannie’s) with respect and courtesy. Trust me I built up a business with that model for me initially then my employees as I grew it. Even if your post was done as a joke, it comes across differently with the quotes. Regardless, I am only trying to help you whether you can see/believe it or not.

read some of the past posts in this thread. Some members were calling tall lifted truck owners midgets or retarded etc. to me that’s derogatory. Maybe I’m wrong? However, there was another thread about adding a k&n filter cold air kit and one member actually asked if my wife died because she was fat as it got mentioned she passed. There is zero excuse for that. Apparently admins must of read that thread and by the next day all his posts (I believe his username was 1lowlife) was all gone. I didn’t ask for that as I wanted to keep talking to him in hopes I could reach the good part inside him. I honestly believe all people, even the haters/negative Nannie’s do have a good side. There is just no reasons to bash people because you don’t like their customization. If you go thru some of these threads there is a lot more of that then you realize. I usually don’t say anything until it gets bad enough or seems like too many ganging up on one member. Yes someone may post a thread with their customization and say please tell me if you like or don’t like it. I have zero issues with someone going in there to say yea not for me dawg or nah I don’t like it. Ok that’s great, you stated your opinion. However, my issue is when it goes past this and the haters/negative Nannie’s start calling the OP names or making fun of them etc. ok, enough of my point I think you get it. Sorry again OP don’t mean to hijack…:hattip:

Yea I am a BIG poster on the meme thread…..I could post funny memes and read them all day, well being retired you have more flexibility and time. Nothing I ever post about anyone on here is to start a fight or show hate towards that person. Life is waaaaaaayyy to short to go thru it with all the negativity….live life to the fullest way possible and enjoy everyone and everything you can. Tomorrow is never promised to any of us……..:amen:

The hilarious part of that clip is I’m the Bill Murray character (laid back trying to enjoy life and not hating others), and the haters are the Francis/Psycho character. Now that’s classic right there……:D

They are usually cruising around in dually diesels, modified for rolling coal... but ya, it's a step in that direction.

It’s strange that I NEVER think about what size another man’s pen#% is. But hey there is absolutely nothing wrong with that if that’s how you swing!! I’m I doing it right??? :notsure:

No one is talking about penises in this thread except you...

I also don't recall anyone disparaging big tires or lifts in this thread either, except for one guy correctly pointing out the negative aspects of this for road use.

you both know exactly what I’m saying and I don’t need to quote anyone as you’re just playing coy since your part of the hater group. While your both thinking about other men’s sizes, I’ll be riding in my lifted truck probably with all 5 windows down (love that the Tundras back window goes down too) and just enjoying the sun/wind and life……ignorance is bliss……

Me?! While my tires are a little shorter than yours, they are probably wider and heavier, and my truck is bigger.

Oh I see, you thought "Big truck little d&$k syndrome?" (which I didn't say, BTW) was literal! This refers to a personality type... or at least I thought it did.

I didn’t do a build thread. Is that needed to be considered a legit truck owner? I am actually a pretty private person and this is out of the norm for me. I do post in some threads but usually it’s to TRY to help people with questions on stuff I have already done. Then the haters get involved and ruin threads. It really does happen a lot on this forum.
