Scored a full set of Talon Garage Cat Shield on CL for $140 ...

 

Had some time tonight to give the truck a pressure wash/foam cannon wash. Applied some CarPro Hydro2 (foam wash) as well for protection. Been using that stuff for a while now and it’s great for how easy it is to apply. Also used some quick wax on the windows, headlights, tail lights. I need to get more tire shine as well..

 

Greetings. They are the HiRevSports in smoke. I have had mine a few years now and they have been great. I was initially worried about brightness when I ordered the smoke lenses but these are super bright. I also like the 2 rows of LED's on the side, they show up well from the side at night. They are plug and play, so no tapping into factory wires or adding any sort of resistor. Just personal preference, but I don't add any electronics that don't come with a proper harness.

Nice might be my next tire. What was the price on them? Are they E rated?

I was concerned the brake light portion of those tail lights were a little small. whats your opinion?

 

$349 each. Not sure about the rating

 

Understandable concern, from a surface area perspective the brake light is smaller than stock, but they are bright, and since its not an area already lit / shared by the running lights like the factory configuration, it's more noticeable IMO. The blinkers are also smaller than factory, but the brightness and sequential feature along the same lines, grab your attention. All just my perspective of course.

 

Ordered the Diode Dynamics C1R light pod for a 4th brake light which is on backorder. W/ the RTT it blocks the 3rd brake light. Want to be safe. Now I'll have 2 reverse lights (vleds license plate reverse bar, and the hitch pod). Was going to order one of the OPT7 tailgate light strips and Curt adapter, but that isnt the look I'm going for.

 

Lookin good! would you mind to do me a favor and measure the tread surface width (shoulder to shoulder) for me? Something tells me that they measure small.

yeah - shit's gone nuts since 2020.
I paid ~$220 a corner when I put the 295/70R18's on my truck as well... I'm dreading replacing them...probably just before this winter.

Yup, I missed the RT piece. AT3W's for me.

Luckily I don't drive near as much as I use to. Tires only have about 30k on them.

 

Zooming in on the photo, it looks to be a blurred up E load rating on the sidewall, but I'm not 100% on that....

If you have time, you should start a new thread in the tires/wheels section titled 'Falken Wildpeak RT01" and post your pics, and experiences w/the tire in that thread; that would give anyone wanting to look at them an easy way to find them through a quick search and keep you from answering the same questions over and over

 

I questioned in the wheel thread about these. I found out from my tire owner at his shop when he mounted my grapplers on my SCS wheels he told me about them. They have only came out not long ago. I be curious after he runs them for a while what his thoughts are.
