I just recently bought a 2008 Toyota Tundra LTD and I can't get my cruise to work is there anywhere I should start looking to get it working?

I had the same issue on my 07 and it was both the clock spring and the cruise control switch. I had a shop diagnose, they showed me the pathway they used to figure out the fault. It was fairly detailed and complicated (for an amateur such as myself), so you can either gamble and try swapping both of those parts yourself or pay a pro.

Yeah cruise control is a must for me on long trips. Was worth the $$$ to fix it. Just took it on a 3000 mile round trip I would’ve hated life without cruise lol.

I paid about $900 for the diagnosis, clock spring, and cruise control switch.

As a guy that DIY’s most things it pained me to spend that, but I also realize that I don’t have the know how to have diagnosed that.

I just did 1,500 without cruise in my '07. Was definitely a "blast from the past" feeling.

Really? I did mine two years ago and found it pretty simple and straightforward. But, I do understand your fear of dealing with the airbag. :burnrubber:

Airbags are effective but MEAN, they will hammer you hard...keep your head safe, you need it.
