Lol - we had a Colt Vista back in the day. It was like a rose/pink color.

 

My friend had a crappy little Ford Escort hatchback. I drove it back from a basketball game once in the winter. The defrost didn't work and it took me flooring it for 5 miles to get up to 55. Loved that piece of shit.

My dad raced one of a Ford Fairlane for a bit throughout high-school and after. He opened a mechanic shop and worked on mostly Fords because of what they are. He had the fastest quarter mile ride in the southwest Louisiana area and 2nd fastest ride in about 50-75 mile radius

Especially if it’s an Escort GT. Had one with manual transmission. Moved to the Dakota’s and had to trade it in for a new Explorer.

 

i'm almost positive his didn't look that good since he ran from cops in it (his dad was a police juror, so he got in a lot more trouble if he was caught than if the police had gotten him and took care of him) and drag raced it.

I knew it going to happen. Old unit was a nine year warranty unit, which was 11 years old, when we bought the house… 8 years ago. So I got my money out of it. The seal around the bottom heating element cover was the source of the leak.

 

I’m fortune enough to know how to, and not be afraid to tackle any project around the house so that is always helpful.

My ups guy stopped by today to tell me I was a shitty person for not working…

long story short, he ends up telling me two months ago had his water heater replaced and paid $800something for installation and labor.
