Have a 22 Toyota tundra platinum hybrid with AVS/Air. Was having trouble finding any full suspension lift kits compatible with the hybrid/AVS/air so I settled on ordering a readylift 2” SST lift kit. https://www.readylift.com/2-sst-lift-kit-2022-2023-toyota-tundra-rear-air-2wd-4wd.html I’ve heard spacer lifts can cause wearing/breakdown of other suspension components so I’m having second thoughts. Can anyone share their opinions or experiences with spacer lifts? I won’t be doing any off-roading so would it be fine? Also plan on having 295/60/20 tires.

will I need bump stop extensions as well?

You'll be fine. You could get front bump stop extensions but you only need them if you're maxing out your travel, which it doesn't sounds you'll be doing. I have AVS and air ride as well and have the kit ready to install, just haven't had time. From my research, this is the best option for the rear setup.

it'd probably be ok but will drive worse than spacer-less suspension.

Could you check the bottom of your spindle where the steering stop on the LCA contacts the spindle? I'm willing to bet that the spindle pocket and the LCA tab are not aligned and that's the binding you're feeling.

Does it feel like the front end lifts up a bit and/or the steering doesn't want to stay at full lock?

    Nope, my mistake.

But you can still do a proper lift on it, can you not?

shackles are not a proper lift either. And the rear on OP's truck has air bags, no leafs or coils. The kit he linked is the most proper setup available as of today. Only other way to lift would be to get taller bags.

If only that kit worked on air ride/AVS trucks....but it doesnt.

I really just want to have it leveled and fit bigger tires and the readylift spacer kit was the best one I could find. Maybe I could get something like this ? https://www.roughcountry.com/m1-tun...MInP_u1sfm_gIV_DetBh0ilAkYEAQYAyABEgKcDPD_BwE

I’m getting the spacer kit installed tomorrow so maybe I can do that in the future and replace the spacers in the front with those?

you might have to do what Im going to do. I want the level/lifted look so Im going with the readylift rear components and westcott kit up front. You could also just go with rough country 1.75" spacers and the RL rear. Im currently running the RC 1.75" and it provided a nice firmer front end....felt way too soft from the factory, even in Sport/Sport+ mode.

Is there anything wrong with using the readylift front components? Is the Westcott kit better for the front?

the westcott kit is the better option overall for the front. It comes with front bump stop extensions, preload collar and top spacer. Its a very well engineered kit and other than doing lift struts, it will be your best bet. Better ride, better geometry and retains the bump stops.

You can run the RL front side as well, but keep an eye out for what the guy above posted.

Looks like with what you purchased, you won't get a level look. Seems that kit will lift the entire truck 2".
The second link you posted is for adjustable front preload struts, which you will almost never use the adjustment collar on them.

If you want the level look, better ride quality than spacers, and not to mess with the air ride just yet, also cheaper than what you currently paid for the RL spacer kit. Check these out.
    https://www.roughcountry.com/tundra-n3-leveling-struts-501148.html

I just ordered a set and will be installing them once they show up.
Not sure if they will offer the clearance you desire for 295/60/20 tires, but if you already planned on getting that size with the 2" RL then I'm sure you did that portion of the research.

If you have to go taller, due to wanting level look and needing to lift the rear, check out this kit-
    https://www.roughcountry.com/toyota...67436380|&utm_content=&utm_term=||m||70300-01

Still a spacer setup for the front but may be able to call and have them swap front spacers for these-
    https://www.roughcountry.com/premium-n3-lifted-struts-501149.html

The truck has roughly 2 - 2.5" rake. I was told by Rough Country the 2" preloads level it out just fine. I'm not familiar with how high you have to go for a specific tire sizes but either way will require 2" in the front for your desired level look. You will probably still need to trick the auto level system with relocating bracket/s.
Keep in mind, not sure if it's relevant to you, a diff drop is required for anything more than 2".
    Hope this helps.

I too have the AVS option & also wanted the OEM 3" lift but there's a conflict with the AVS I'm a half full glass kinda person and figured @ some point someone some where will figure something out.
So after reading multiple amounts of thread's/post's and some light to moderate stalking I stumbled across Cornfed. They are a small family owned company that has been modifying vehicles with lifts of all sorts they have been tinkering with 2" & 2.5" spacers along with longer linkage on the rear end of the the 3rd gen's with AVS.
I have requested an order and will drop it in once the truck and the kit get's here...
