Who's got dogs? Post your pup!

We have one that's just a strap with a loop in it with a carabiner on the end. Loop it around any seatbelt then around itself then hook the carabiner to the dog's harness. Pretty sure we just got it at Pet Smart or somewhere like that. I'll try to remember to get a picture if I get a chance.

 

Compared to our 2 yr runt, this 9 mo is huge.

Our last one was a 95# male, didn't seem that big cause he was such a love bug.

This dickhead decided to roll in the potting soil I emptied from the old pots around the yard.

It was pretty funny. But between the muddy mess we have from irrigation last night and now this, I’m over giving her baths. Oh, and she cosplayed as a chinchilla yesterday as well, rolling in the soft dust in the pool area construction zone we have. So this will be bath #3 in 24 hours.

 

Make sure you are using quality shampoos. Too many baths will dry out her skin and cause lots of issues.

 

Good call. But I really only rinsed her off on the second one. Maybe if her skin gets itchy that’ll teach her not to do dumb shit?

Jokes aside, I doubt it. Dogs live in the moment so connecting the dots on stuff like that is usually stuff they don't worry about. It'll teach you to make sure she can't get to the dirt, though!

Our younger lab likes to find things that either smell dead or like shit and then roll so the back of her neck is covered in it and then eat on it a little so her breath is more of the same. With 5 acres of woods, there’s plenty of places for her to find something to do that with.
