How horrible for the affected. Hopefully the damage is minimal and areas are opening up soon again.

So far we’re good. Basically surrounded by fires, but so far have been lucky with wind direction. We got a little bit of rain overnight and it’s cooler today. Hopefully that slows growth down.. Basically have the horse trailer hooked up to the truck waiting in the pasture for emergency loading. We all have night bags packed etc. just wait and hope for a proper province wide rain pour:fingerscrossed:

Same for you! I've asked my Native buddy to do a rain dance or three and I stomped on a spider this morning.

Best I can do when I'm stuck at work in FSJ, which is damn near on fire itself. Apparently I need to kill more spiders. LOL

I know that drive well, but typically cary on to Cape Breton some of my best mpgs on the tundra are from that route!

Any guess as to your mix of highway and city driving for this tank to get that 12.8?

That's pretty good on an engine that isn't broken in. My truck would probably do between 15 and 18 in that scenario.

Why would you overland/offroad in a truck instead of an SUV?

That thing is pretty sweet! Best part you can get it in manual.
Does look like the 3rd gen tundra from a distance.

puts the outgoing model to shame. If I was looking to light money on fire, the trail version hybrid would be my choice.
    I bet it rips.

Yeah that's what I meant. If I was hardcore into off roading, my first choice would be a 4R, rather than a Taco.

That’s the first Tacoma that might actually interest me. If it has a reasonable payload & towing numbers….& As long as the interior ergonomics & seating are better suited. That was always my no go reason. I never fit comfortably in one. Curious et what the $$ point will be.

Pfft. GVWR is like Payload. More of a guideline than a rule.
