Yep, that’s the one. We are headed out to breakfast early, so that was a motivator as well. Plus, I’m in between games right now so the kids and I don’t have to share the late night gaming requests.

 

Lame. We’ll at least the weather’s not that good.

 

Funny story… You guys may remember a few months ago I told you about my friends that have a F150 that’s waiting many months for parts. Well, still no parts.

Our boys are the same age, so we’ll be visiting them in early June for their son’s graduation party. We told them about our son’s graduation party and their response was “Yes, wanna be there. Gotta see if we can borrow the uncle’s Tundra to tow the trailer.”

Think it is time to buy the Tundra and trade the Turd-150

No, it's not too early! I tell you what...a few small samples and I was ready for 5pm cocktails!

Sometimes there's hope...We are slaved to Comcast/Xfinity here for cable/internet. I've been paying for gig speed for years and only seeing about 600mb/sec. Comcast's customer service is horrible and their website is even worse, so dealing with them requires more patience than the dentist.

We're going to drop cable next week and finally go just internet, so I went to the local Comcast store last week to get some prices. The guy in the store was amazing. Big change from last time I did that. Then he wasn't happy that I wasn't getting my full gig speed, so he scheduled a repair guy. The last asshat I dealt with didn't even suggest that was possible.

Repair guy showed up today two hours early and checked my entire house. Turns out my speeds are 1 gig...Microsoft via the Xbox is just slow. The dude was amazing. Let me watch the testing and walked me through the results. Even after things looked fine, he changed out a bunch of connections just to make sure we're max'd. Dropped in a filter too to make sure the small cable box in the bedroom isn't back-feeding noise to the main cable box. Didn't have the heart to tell him the boxes are all going away next week...

No. I just enjoy them when they show up. Our weather is too unpredictable to chase it. Weather forecasts are 90% wrong.

 

Ah, I'm not big on the dangerous bits. I love a rolling thunderstorm, and I think lightning shows are awesome, but when it gets close I'm not thrilled. Electricity is seldom my friend.
