I’m sure you ruptured your condenser or bent lines enough for it to leak out. Check your hoses and look at getting a new condenser and getting it recharged

Really bumpin the stereo hard this AM. I can hear just about every loose bolt in the virus which is MOST of them.

The exhaust is rubbing on some kind of cross brace too in the center "channel" under neath the car. I'm really considering cutting that exhaust pipe with the Sawzall if it's after the cats. Etc.

Straight piped corolla. Zoomin by at 90 mph sounding like a fuckin bi-plane

I think that thing's had more than just a licking. That thing is like a cockroach, or a crackhead on PCP getting his ass beat by hoodlums repeatedly, with two broken arms and two broken legs, but keeps getting up and giving them a run for their money.

I've been sitting here trying to figure out which car to get the oldest for when she's driving age in ~3 years. I was looking at Scions, or their future iterations as Yaris etc. I may end up making that a 'rola at this point.

"Virus" is an apt name. Viruses can be a PITA to kill, and even harder to eradicate entirely.

Speaking of Nancy, @RUSTYNUTS, while standing in the merch line with the daughter yesterday at Shaky Knees, this is who was playing on the other side of the asphalt lot.

Never got into them. The lead singer reminds me a lot of Anthony Green (Saosin / Circa Survive / The Sound of Animals Fighting), only Anthony's voice is way better. They have that same nasally tone, though. Anthony goes way bigger, and I don't know how he doesn't blow out vocal cords at shows with his scream-growls.

Mine survived 3 bad accidents. The final one at 75 mph finally did it in. But 880k miles it still ran like a top with an axle hitting the crank

Hey, random question; What do you know or remember about Jugheads Revenge? I remember them being okay and sounding similar to Pennywise, Pulley, Ten Foot Pole, and the likes, back in late 90's. Snowboard video music is what comes to mind. I was a bit surprised to hear they're playing shows again, like currently. Just asking because you're like an encyclopedia/database/infobot of sorts.
and I'll be direct support opening for them next saturday.

To be completely honest, I don't. Much at all, the name looks familiar though. I actually had to go look them up. Maybe it's because they were on BYO, and I used to get the BYO paper catalogs by mail. Similar to SST, I used to get their paper catalog too, and there were bands in there I'd see, but I still to this day haven't listened to. Paper Bag is one of them.

Anyway, I don't remember seeing them in 411 VM or anything like that. They have an early-Descendents-meets-NOFX vibe, you're right. Looks like it'll be a fun show! (I'm assuming you get to go rip in the crowd after you guys play)

I finally fixed my Passenger Princess doors on the virus. Been fucked up since the guard rail incident.

The impact pushed the fire wall back so the front door would get caught on the back door, and not open unless you opened the back door first.

I cut about 5 mm off the leading edge of the rear door at the top with a cut off wheel. Sprayed with left over matte black paint I had from the frame job in the V6. Got a few paint runs, but I honestly don't give a fuck. (Obviously.)

That $33 gas tank every 4 days is a HELLUVA a lot better than that $80 gas tank every 3 days.

Free repair. I would have never fixed this door issue for the last one. Cuz I couldn't lol

Can one of y’all get me a part # on this EVAP valve? Mines too rusted to see, and Toyota’s new website is a doesn't seem to have any images yet.

    78935A0F-6EDC-4F78-A9CA-195A4F1B4594.jpg

I believe I’ve narrowed down my persistent P0441 to this valve. Mostly based on the fact that a mechanic has written “bad” on it, but if the official P0441 definition is “incorrect purge flow” and my purge valve is bad, it would make sense that the valve is the issue.

*yes, I know that hose is cracked and the other one isn’t on the valve all the way

I mean, I believe that could be, I think I mentioned it before. It's your vent/purge solenoid. Should be p/n 90910-12268. But please confirm a visual (fleaBay usually works well). I confirmed fitment at the new Toyota Parts site, amazinly they're fixing crap daily but you should still confirm also.

Just put in another tool order with Home Depot for an M12 right angle impact with a free 2.5A battery for $199. I feel like I'm hooked on this Milwaukee shit. I may need an intervention soon.

Well, the new Toyota Parts site is slowly starting to become functional. But ... there's a catch. They don't let you pick the dealerships anymore, so you gotta Google for the dealership's parts website.

So I checked on Serra Toyota of Birmingham, and they're back with the new site, with their regular discounts, FREESHIP coupon works (but there's weirdness where you've gotta toggle the shipping option before it works), but now, strangely, no more free tax.
