Tundras to Sedona - 2023

Discussion in 'General Tundra Discussion' started by AT x AT, Oct 26, 2022.

?

To Overland or Not to Overland

  1. I would like to join an Overland Detachment.

  2. I would like to enjoy trail leader, lead day trip(s) and return back to base camp to sleep.

  3. I would like to explore the trails by me, myself and I.

Ya still planning on it once weather warms up. @des2mtn said he might be up for it too. Big Sur, lost coast, redwoods then maybe hit up Tahoe or Mammoth Lakes on the way back…

I’ve got some catching up to do.

Was awesome to see everyone that I was able to get to! I know there’s a whole shitload of people I wanted to meet that I just never saw (or was potentially too inebriated to remember). We’ll have to catch up next time!

Now to go sift through 518 posts that I missed in here……

Was definitely awesome to see you too, we had a great time. Thanks for putting together a great event and much thanks for being a man of your word and not only remembering, but following through with your promise to gift me some beer if I went during my hesitation a week before the event.
The beers look very nice and I plan to sample this weekend. Again, thank you!

Let me guess, if @CreamyWorkTruckWhite would have gone faster and @JevinJ would have gone slower, neither would have been stuck.

Found a bunch of rodent turds in my truck the other day. I think I picked up some forest friends at the cinders.

*edit: Not referring to my new first gen friends I also picked up at the cinders. None of them pooped in my truck, as far as I know.

He just walked barefoot on pavement for 3 miles, and his feet still weren’t as black as what the cinders did to them
