Just needs a good polishing from novice hands, look at the link in my signature for a sample. My paint looked exactly the same when I bought my truck many moons ago.

I'm going with dealer port / regional package. But not knowing whearabouts OP is living, who knows which one did it. Looks like something GST (Gulf States Toyota) would piece together, or a dealership would have them assemble. It was just bolt-on parts.

Yup. Looks like something GST probably did then. They also put together the XSP trucks, amongst other things. Which, if still in FL, I'm sure you've seen plenty of.

Here’s a similar version of a Seqouia. The Borla intake and exhaust is shared. It’s a Southeast Toyota edition also

The TS page mentions that the 2002 version had badging that sounds like yours. Also leather interior was part of the package.

I'm going to say that it's not then.
Since it was bought in Florida I'm going to say that is it's a dealer installed/Gulfport edition. Nothing special but cosmetics. Kinda like the current TSS Tundras that you see.

It's a special edition because it was your late dad's. Clean it up and enjoy it.

It's got a long road to recovery. The paint is trash so is the interior. Runs like a champ though!!!

Well, if you were a little closer, I'd be happy to help with getting the paint back in check. All I can offer is tips on how to do it. A competent body shop would probably get that single-stage paint buffed out and re-sealed for under $1,500. Local shop around here with clientele sporting Ferraris and Lambos offered to do mine for $1,200 but I wasn't willing to drop the coin, so I spent about 1/10th of that on the supplies and got to work.

It's just another crafted package. Looks like any other Tundra, but the ones down here had sportier, larger (I think Enkei 18") wheels, lower profile tires, some interior updates, and instead of an "SR5" or "Limited" chrome badge on the rear pillar of the cab, it had a chrome "XSP" badge.

If you got some YouTube videos that you could recommend, that'd be awesome. I do some woodworking on the side so I have a festool rotax I can get all the pads for

Yeah, if you have something that'll work like a random-orbit DA and supports hook-and-look at 5"-6", you're in business. Don't have any videos, sorry :(

Wash the paint exceptionally good, including taking a tooth brush to the seams, get a Griot's Garage orange correction pad, and some Meguiar's Ultimate Polish.

The rest is just technique, and knowing basics like ... never let your pad touch the ground, one piece of sand will ruin your paint. Work in the shade. Never use more than medium pressure. Pre-load your pad with polish. Always move in barely overlapping rows like mowing a yard, left to right from top to bottom of your panel, then up and down from left to right of your panel, and make 3-5 passes like this. Keep your work area contained, like do the bedside from mid-wheel back first, then when done, do everything from mid-wheel to the cab split. One door at a time. For the hard-to-reach areas, the Chemical Guys "Hex Logic" sponges work great, the orange one with some polish on it will get the rear cab corners, under the rear window, between the 3rd brake light and back window, etc. Be sure to buff the polish off with a clean terrycloth towel (by a pack of detailing towels) and again DO NOT let the towel touch the ground.

You could claybar it after washing also, like I did, but it's really overkill ... polish is taking all that off anyway.

It's also ok to be like me, and do the bed one day, then the doors the next, then the front end, then the roof or whatever. I'm on limited time b/c I've got kids like you, so I worked in pieces. Just make sure you take your time, work slow and methodical. That's how you get good results. Rinse your pad thoroughly and dry completely between sessions if you gotta break it up. You can do a whole truck in 6-8 hours.

I've been eyeing the same truck as OP posted. It's in a neighboring town where I live (somewhat rural Texas town) under a carport with lots of trash in the bed. It's covered in dirt/dust so I doubt the owner realizes what a gem it may be. I'm afraid if I stop by to ask about it, I'm going to have to fork out the cash as I'm sure it would be a smoking deal.
