Name this tundy

So my dad bought this from the dealership brand new back in '02. It's been in the family since he passed away a long time ago. So figuring out exactly what it is has been difficult. I know it's some sort of special edition but I just can't put my finger on it.

Can anybody do it by picture?

I don't know if it's Terminator 3 edition. It has the Ivan Stewart body kit on it

It would have been a dealer add-on. He didn't do anything to this truck. It looks the same as when he bought it except for the paints a whole lot shittier now lol

 

I'm honestly hoping that it's not one of the 2000 made special edition tundras for that year. Because this was going to be my son's first truck and I can't give it to him if it's a super rare truck

Is there any way to get definitive proof of that?

 

Put the vin into the toyota website? I think it lists all the options and stuff.

 

Maybe run the VIN# through the Toyota owners website.

I don't know what it is but it desperately needs a coat(or 5) of wax. That paint is crying out for help.

Looks like an Ivan Stewart edition most likely.

 

Is there any special badge by the radio?

 

Its the full kit, flares are different, too.

Out doing yard work and can check later but IIRC, the Ivan Stewart was built from a Tundra Limited 4x4 base model but SR5 folks and the like bought the IS kit and added the kit.

 

Potential clone then. Or a port / dealer special edition. Wrong wheels for an IS edition. Those are the Enkei wheels like the Waltrips got. Bumper and grille look right. What’s the script on the bed say?

Both sides the same? Weird it’s missing the “Toyota” part of that. Although I’ve never seen one with that particular badging. A bit of a franken-package. Maybe dealer installed

 

Yes sir same on both sides. That's what I'm thinking, Like I said it looks the same as when my dad brought it home

 

I'm not sure if it would help at all, but it also came with dual borla exhaust and a borla intake
