    I was a bit confused by that honestly. I didn't know if it was saying you need to bleed and add fluid or if it was just showing how to do it for future reference.

    Interesting. Mine seems to be working just fine and I did not add any fluid to it when I assembled it. Maybe those are just instructions for future use in the event that you had to change or add fluid.

    That's what I thought as well. Jack seemed to function fine so I tried it on my wife's Trail Boss that was sitting there and while it did lift it there was some play in the stroke before the hydraulic engaged so I added some fluid and did the bleed procedure. Haven't tried it out yet, have some things to do to my Tundra this week and I will try it out again.

    edit: had a chance over the weekend to really use the jack and it works much better now

    The jack and mount together are 80 lbs. You would have to make something strong enough to support the weight.

    Edit.....you would also have to mount it sideways due to the length of the jack.

    I don’t think the weight or orientation will be an issue, saving space on the bed floor is my big concern.
