37" Falken AT3's on SCS F5 bronze wheels:

A true 3" in the front. 2" rear.

 

Tmac, did the scs center caps not fit in the rear?

As far as I know, there are no rear center caps. They're just to cover the front IFS axles. Am I missing something?

 

Inquiring about the SCS Wheels Center Caps. In the picture of the rear wheel, no center cap installed.

 

These wheels come with no center caps. I forget where but I once read that they do this on purpose for a more off-roadish aesthetic.

 

SCS F5's for the +2022 Tundras come with +12mm offset.

Do you have a rope ladder that pops out when the doors are open?

What did you do to the headlights?

 

Hahaha! I need to get some powered step boards. GoRhino's look good, but I'm waiting to see what Amp Research comes out with first.

I painted the headlight *exterior* housing. Cleaned, taped, adhesion promoter, tint spray.

 

What sort of tint spray did you use? It could be something for the moustache as well?

Looks awesome, is a 3" lift required to fit 37s? Also, how much trimming did you have to do along with the body mount chop?

 

I ordered the SCS F5s in dark bronze as well. They are a good looking wheel and hub-centric to boot. Your truck looks awesome I can’t wait to get mine.

will likely run them without a center cap but some people on Etsy do sell center caps for the F5s if interested. I looked at getting some just to have the option because I hadn’t seen any 2022/23 without them until now. Those close ups confirm what I suspected, that wheel looks damn good without a center cap. Nice set up!

 

I'd lift the front by at least 2" - Westcott or something similar. At least this. 3" is better IMO.

I trimmed the rear crash bracket and pinned back the front fender liner.

 

Cool. Didn't even know they made caps for these.

 

They'll rub, unless you get a moderate lift and a good alignment. But it's def worth it!

 

Btw, here are my post-lift/wheels/tires alignment specs. I’d like a little more caster, but the truck rides really well.

 

Thanks, good to know. Did you weld a plate over the cut area of the bracket or is that not necessary?

 

I didn’t weld a plate. It’s not structurally necessary. Maybe it’d keep dirt out of crevasses? I’m not concerned with it.

 

Dope, hopefully someone will come along with a fender liner kit.

 

Westcott has fender liner kits for exactly this purpose. I have it on my truck with 37s.

They might rub. Just be prepared to align it at a good shop and possibly trim some. It’s not difficult at all.
