Uhhh... I don't believe they measure electricity in HP :notsure:

I'm pretty sure it's like watts or amps or something like that :boink:

...and yes, if I was a cop, I'd write every Tesla ticket I could (especially when they are in track mode)!!!

    It’s actually rated in HP
    https://youtu.be/WO7bTdAirKY

Track mode is only going to cool the motors, show tire heat, allow you to adjust any percentage you want (FWD vs RWD) or any split you desire, record lap times, etc. in a quarter mile, I would keep it off.

Which is why it manages to pull a 2500lb unbraked agricultural trailer loaded with about 8,000lbs of large wet round hay bales and not kill any kittens, I'm guessing that not even a Corolla that is spanked up is going to do that, especially getting it out of a bumpy, terraced field...

Edit: I suppose I should clarify that the trailer didn't start out it's life unbraked, but after a few years the braking system gets a little bit broken, then the lights get ripped off, lose a wheelguard, someone rips off the electric socket, etc - the joy of scabby farm vehicles. You should see the heavier crap my brother in law pulls in his skanky old '98 F250...

I don’t think anyone is comparing a Corolla to towing/hauling. They’re two different animals. I’ve never seen a Corolla try to pull that lol. The Corollas are jut fun cars. Hell, it would be my Sunday car if I ever had the need / desire for one

Throw some air bags on that Corolla and I'll tow the shit out of a trailer. I'll tow the frikkin space shuttle with it.

When you ask a home seller to repair damage to the septic tank and they counter... seller fixed the repairs AND paid my closing costs because the deck needs to be replaced. They knew that if I walked away they were now required to disclose these issues to other potential buyers.

My perspective: if you've been shitting in it for ten years and its broken I think you should pay for the repairs.

Some things I will not budge on, sewer, electrical, and plumbing in the house hould be in a servicable and working order unless disclosed prior to and the house is priced to reflect otherwise fix the damn issues. The area I'm in its not like any one house is to die for, there are plentiful on the market because people still think their 400k homes are worth 900k.

I sold my home over a weekend. That's because I paid for my own inspections and took care of any discrepancies ahead of time.

    Rant over.

I'm number 3 of about 20 vehicles in a line of cars going 32 MPH in a 45 zone lead by a car that likes to apply brakes for whatever reason. What do I do? A keep an assured clear distance and a half since the lead car likes to slow even slower at random. The 4th guy doesn't like all this wasted space ahead of me passes me in a no passing zone then hits the brakes. Dude leading the pack decides to pull off and the speed limit opens to 55. What's Mr. Impatience do? Drives 50 in a 55 zone for the next 5 miles before I turn off. Oh, and he was driving a Nissan.

This has been driving me insane the past couple weeks on my commute. When the speed limit drops from 45 mph to 30 for a construction zone, everybody goes flying by me because I'm only going 30 then I get stuck behind 3 lanes full of people going 35 in the subsequent 45 and 50 zones.

This is almost an identical scenario to something I experienced a few months ago.
Morning commute, I'm number 6-7 in a line of cars in the left lane. Leader of the pack decided to get in the left lane and drive next to a tractor trailer in the right lane for about 2 mi, at 55-60 mph. One Nobel prize winner about 4 cars ahead of me kept swerving into the right lane and back into the left lane, looking for a way around the stupid ahead. The last time, the person behind him closed the gap, so he forced his way back in line and that person slammed their brakes,.....at 60 mph.
The 2 trucks in front of me were able to stop in time, but I wasn't. I saw it happening and had space, but my van brakes weren't up to the task (3 yr old promaster with 35kmi and 2 week old tires, on dry pavement. I was able to get it down from 60 to maybe 40mph over 3 car lengths, then used the back of an F350 tool truck to go from 30-0.
Guy in front of me had a bent bumper and spilled diesel can in the bed. Guy in front of him had a tiny dent in his bumper that he didn't care about. Whole front of my van was smashed in and all airbags deployed.
I wasn't rear ended, but a few cars behind me there was another 3 car pile up.
All because of some impatient asshole and a panicky idiot that didn't know how to apply their brakes in a 60 mph situation.
They both went on their merry way and probably never knew what happened.
I'm not angry about it, but I hope they both catch on fire and someone puts them out with a baseball bat.

The human brain is the same size as it was 100k yrs ago. Just a few hundred yrs ago, people burned other people alive because they believed they were witches. They believed they could cure illness by bloodletting. Etc.
No major improvements have been made to the human design in recent history.
And we gave them all vehicles.
    Think about that.
I'm pretty sure technology has evolved a little faster than people were ready for.

Really? That's odd. Around here Nissans are sort of the car version of Ram trucks.

    I've got one!

My wife, once she's almost done eating yogurt out of the container...will bang the living sh*t out of the yogurt container with the spoon trying to get that LAST little bit, for like 2 or 3 minutes. I don't know why, but it drives me freaking bananas listening to it.

When my wife eats chips or crackers, etc, she bites a little piece off with her teeth, like she's trying to avoid having it touch her lips, then proceeds to chomp with her mouth open for the first few chomps. Like a person chewing with a crazy clown smile. I'm half deaf and it sounds like someone smashing dinner plates in my ears.
Why can't you just cram a handful of shit in your face hole, then close your goddam mouth and chew, like a normal person?
We all have annoying habits. She's a great gal, but probably has a handful of habits that warrant burning the house down. Or at least a temper tantrum.
But the chewing thing is grounds for a murder/suicide.
