Oh yah that's more like it! My favorite color too. As long as you can fit in it that is all that matters!

My 69 Mach 1 I got from my old man who was only the 3rd owner in it's life. I keep thinking I will sell it as I just don't drive it....but just can't make myself get rid of it.

Very nice Mach 1. It's been in your family for awhile. I would not sell it, you will regret it for a long time. Maybe there is another family member to pass it down instead.

69 442’s. The convertible is a 4 speed and I restored it to as new down to correct bolts with correct plating, bias ply tires etc. owned since mid 90’s.
The hardtop is modified and has some serious get up and go. Owned since 88.

The Nova, little brother to my Camaro. Nice ride.

As far as the Farmall, my dad had a 48 or 49 and looks identical to this one. I loved driving that tractor on the farm. Used it for cutting and raking hay. Pulling a New Holland bailer, ploughing fields, hauling bails of hay back home. I was driving it around age 8 or 9 if I recall correctly. That clutch was kind of heavy for me at that age. The engine block eventually cracked but my older brother was able to braze it back together and get it re-machined. He got it after my father passed away. I have some very fond memories of that old tractor.

Y’all are seriously making me drool with these cars. I’m almost 40 so I wasn’t around when these were new, but my dad raised me on the love of muscle cars. He had a 63 Impala and then some various (not so muscle car lol) VW Beetles.

I’d really love to find something that I can tinker with but also not completely trashed. My wish list, in no particular order, 69 Mach 1, 90’s Fox Body Mustang, or any late 60’s or early 70’s Mopar with a 318 or higher motor.

If you had to pick one, which one would it be? Then set a realistic budget since tinkering costs money depending on what tinkers you want to buy for it.

Start looking locally first then expand. I recommend not buying from dealers or at auctions, you pay a premium for that. Put some want ads out where it costs you nothing to advertise. Go to carshows and talk to guys that have a car you might like and make an offer. Pay special attention to body and frame condition since that costs the most to fix. Avoid anything that has bondo on it (check with a magnet wrapped in microfibre cloth). It takes time to find the right car. If the deal sounds too good to be true, look harder. Good Luck!

I’m 37 and was raised the same way, exactly why I bought my pile of junk the second I could. I still want an 02 WS6 M6 T/A or 02 Camaro SS M6. Those are the cars I wanted in high school. Fox bodies were a dime a dozen in those days.

Beautiful C2 Vette and in my favorite color too. The ZZ-4 and 6 speed must make it a blast to drive. I want one myself but the prices on these C2's in the last 5 years or so have gone through the roof.

So you are from the land of 10,000 Lakes. I may have seen your Vette if you were ever at the Street Machine Nationals in St. Paul. I have been there a number of times over the last 13 years or so. I have never attended Back to the 50's yet but it’s on my to do list. Maybe this year if I can find a hotel room.

Neat, those cars are definitely from different ends of the spectrum. You and @Tundra-G have something in common when it comes the Mercedes. How hard is finding parts for a 66?

I’m 38 and I’ve had my eye on a 1970 chevelle 454 ss since I was 16. Told my wife when I turn 40 I’m on the hunt. If I wanted something from my era, 01 viper gts hands down. Or an 03 Ford Lightning.
